Our "queen room" was actually a huge suite! The bedroom was a separate room, and the suite had an almost full kitchen (no oven, but a stove, a full fridge/freezer, microwave, coffeemaker, blender, toaster, plates and glasses and silverware, even a dishwasher...). It seems like every room at this hotel had a balcony, which was excellent - we enjoyed ours in the mornings and evenings for sure. The building is clearly an older building, and some people would complain about the quality because of that, but not us. When we travel we go out a lot - we don't need a room for much but sleeping. And we don't need a room to be fancy - we just need to feel that we are safe in it when we're sleeping and that our belongings are secure in it when we're out. We don't mind an older building that's still perfectly functioning! In fact, it gives a hotel some charm, instead of it being indistinguishable from every other hotel. Outside, the (connected) pools are big and the seating areas around the pool are great, and the hours for the pool are wonderful. The access to the beach is also very close (right by the pool) and very nice. The location of the hotel is good, too - pharmacies, groceries, and restaurants are maybe a 5 minute drive away. The staff was always friendly and helpful, and the cleaning staff were great. We would definitely return to this hotel.

As others have noted, the suites and rooms could really use some updates. Although we had no issues with the cleanliness of our suite (it was nicely and clean) the overall condition of the rooms could certainly benefit from some renovations. However, the rest of the property was very nice, with the common areas and facilities being well-maintained and in good condition. If you're seeking a high-end 5-star experience, this might not be the right choice for you. But if you're looking for a more reasonably priced, comfortable, and modest stay, it provides a pleasant and inviting atmosphere.

Great experience overall but wasn’t very clean and are sofa was stained and curtains were nasty. Hot water wasn’t great and was provided no blankets. Other than that it was a very beautiful vacation. I’d go back but I’d thoroughly clean the suite myself. Washer/dryer and hot tub plus full kitchen and dishwasher was nice. Beds were hard not comfortable at all

The staff was nice. The property has a lot of signs saying they are remodeling but doesn’t look that way. All the rooms are partial ocean view. No full ocean view but nice big balconies. It’s more motelish than hotel.The rooms are big it’s just old the shower was pretty crusty had to wear shower shoes and not touch the walls. Faucet handles looked a bit moldy. Random stains on the floor not sure what they were. The bathroom was probably the worst part. Lots of dust and or something in the vents and on the hair dryer. Enjoyed the casino, ate at the Orient it was very nice. The pool area is very nice. The towels!!! It’s like an act of congress to get towels. There were none in the room when we arrived had to go down and get them since none of the phones in the room worked. Asked a cleaning lady in the next room and she said you can only get them from the front desk. House cleaning cleaned the room each day but didn’t replace towels. Parking was easy about $15 a day. I wouldn’t say don’t stay here just manage your expectations. Hope this helps.
