There was no hot water ! I ordered uber eats and the food was left in the lobby and got ate . If it was thrown out id understand but I was told By a staff member that the bag was opened. Disrespectful . The floors were dirty . Sheets stained . The room was smaller than expected . Location was okay. Hard for an uber to find though . 10/10 DO NOT RECOMMEND . I should have slept at the airport honestly .

Great location, very close to the beach and had many places to eat in walking distance. Overall enjoyed stayed, room could’ve been a bit cleaner but nothing worth complaining about. WiFi was an issue and barely worked at times which wasn’t good when I also didn’t have good cell service. (Spoke with service desk and they said it was an issue being currently addressed). Overall would recommend, especially for the price!

Very quaint lovely property. Enjoyed staying there except for not having water for half a day. (Municipal issue?) Also had issues with the toilet and sink on our first day. My husband ended up adjusting the toilet and plunging the sink himself. Not ideal - but it was still clean, comfortable, and a great location.

so bad that it’s funny

The only good thing going for this hotel is its location, 1/2 block to the beach in a nice neighborhood and a good restaurant attached. Otherwise it is disorganized, not clean (although the tiny pool was clean), remotes vanished from rooms so folks were begging for blankets to keep warm from over-zealous air conditioners, leaky faucets (NOT eco-friendly) , dirty gritty floors, was given the wrong key to my room and walked in on a sleeping man, someone got an electrical shock from reaching in the ice machine, I had to ask the “valet” to turn down the volume on his IPhone which he was watching at 12 AM in the lobby of women screaming…. it was all so bad that it was funny! I have to ask what are the guidelines that makes a Boutique Hotel “boutique”? The woman at the front desk was trying to cover 2 hotels at once, a half block apart, I felt badly for her.

Cute hotel, but there are better options

We had booked a room with two beds. When we checked into our room, the toilet was not mounted correctly so when you sat on it, it wobled from side to side. There were towel bars missing, the water pressure was abysmal, the shower head was spraying water everywhere at the connection and there were no hand towels or wash cloths provided. While the hotel itself was very cute, one could tell it suffered from lack of maintenance and upkeep. The staff were very friendly and polite and there was an on-site restaraunt with a small bar; however, the bartender had no clue how to make a bloody mary nor did she have the neccessary ingredients. One last thing I want to mention is that the so called pool was more like a 40 person jacuzzi with a 9 person maximum occupantcy. While we liked the look of the hotel, it did leave a lot to be desired.

Looked great at first-very attractive building. However, the rooms are tired and need some TLC. Our room had one table lamp, not enough light to read by. TV had no sound. Room wasn’t cleaned when we arrived, and the cleaning crew went out for a break while we sat in the lobby. Staff were pleasant, but didn’t seem too concerned about customer service. OK for one night, but glad we weren’t booked for more. Restaurant was great for breakfast!

We loved the ambiance, the architecture, the unique quaintness of the building! Our room was just adequate for a one night stay. We enjoyed the warm pool as a gathering place to meet others at the end of the day. The neighbourhood had a lovely beach, several restaurants, but very few shops for tourists/souvenirs/snacks.

Decent for one night but wouldn't return

My family arrived early and waited in the lobby area until a front desk attendant arrived. The front door was locked we were lucky another hotel guest was waiting in the lobby area to let us inside to wait. While waiting, it began to rain outside. Within minutes I realized that the ceiling was leaking above me. I notified the front desk attendant and he put a mop bucket filled with dirty mop water below the leak to catch the water. The lobby smelled fresh like Fabuloso. There's a nice restaraunt just off the side of the lobby with a restroom just outside for use before check in. The hotel had an old charm to it. Once we checked in, we were assigned a room on the 2nd floor (no elevator). Our room had a really nice view of the heated pool/hot tub through a cracked glass door. Room smelled old like it wasn't cleaned well. The beds were very comfortable but they were below dirty ceiling fans (we didn't turn them on). The air conditioner kept the room cool but was also covered in dust bunnies. My mother used the bathroom only to find that the toilet was clogged and there was no hot water. I alerted the front desk attendant but there was no one from maintenance on duty. The attendant came up with a plunger to unclog the toilet and told us that we couldn't put any toilet tissue in the toilet! He expected us to put all waste paper in the bathroom trash. The room overall was very gloomy. We spent a bit of time in the warm pool/ hot tub which was pleasant. Wouldn't stay here again.
