I like the easy access to restaurants and that the area is pretty safe and walkable. It was also walking distance to the beach. I think the rooms are well equipped and maintained. However, I would add hooks in the bathroom for the towels. Overall, I would recommend the Mona Loiza for your stay.

The location of this property was perfect. Close to so many attractions without being too busy. The staff was super attentive. They always answered the phone and were helpful. The apartment was clean and exactly as pictured. My 1 complaint was that my terrace was not as clean but overall an amazing find. Would definitely recommend and stay here again.

We only needed one night stay but overall the experience coming from the busy area near Condado to this cute apartment complex was such a great idea! I loved the apartment itself, it was a one bedroom with a small seating and kitchen area. They provided the typical amenities such as soap, towels, etc. I genuinely loved it especially the ease of walking the street. Uber is really the only transportation we used which was super easy. I will definitely keep this spot in mind next time we visit PR.

The room is smaller than the pics, there is no staff on place but she seems to very nice if you need to call. There is no parking to this place and it is in a very trafficked area so be ready to pay over 50 dlls across or find a spot somewhere, there are a few places close but it is far from the viejo San Juan, the beach is maybe 3 to 4 blocks away. If you need water or anything that is not coffee you have to walk to the pharmacy on the corner. Ok place, will I stay again? No. There is nothing to it other than just having a room to come to crash.

This place is infested with insects we stayed in room 10 and noticed a huge infestation in the kitchen and bathroom area we couldn’t stay there so they switched us to room 2 didn’t notice any bugs but when we woke up in the morning me and my 2 kids where bitten up

La Mona was a wonderful experience for my son and me. The apartment was clean, and it was easy to get in contact with the staff. There was one issue with the room, and the staff was able to fix it quickly. The location was a perfect spot. It's within walking distance to many restaurants and a 24-hour grocery store. I would book with La Mona again.

Everything was super, ultra amazing, from the setup of the room to the little issentials box,it's close proximity to a 24hr supermarket and easy access for Uber pick and drop offs.. the stay was well worth it and will do it again once traveling to PR again.
