For a motel6 it was as expected. Staff was reasonable and accommodating. Unfortunately there was hair in the clean towels, but I was able to get clean ones to replace them.

We got a little bit of an early check in which was nice! However, I stayed at the Motel 6 in Goleta before and the Goleta one was better. Here’s why: this one’s walls were dirty and so were the mattresses. It looked like someone had an accident in the mattress closest to the door and they just put a cover over it. It was yellow. The walls were very dirty, there’s no microwave or mini fridge and no shampoo and conditioner in the room you have to ask for mini samples on conditioning shampoo from the office. It’s also kind of loud at night. I don’t know if motel 6 is a franchise but whoever is running this one is going way cheaper than any of the other ones and it’s by the beach in an expensive area. While this is a no frills hotel, it was super clean and my roommate and I really enjoyed the shower’s water pressure and the fact that there was plenty of hot water for a long relaxing shower. Bring your own shampoo and lotion as none were provided. If you are particular about soap, you might want to bring that to as they only give you two tiny bars. One for sink and other for shower. Free coffee in front desk area.
