Truly a lovely weekend getaway that makes you feel like you’re in a forest hideaway. Close enough to Main Street to walk to the shops and even all the way down to the shore. Nice staff, tasty food, clean. This place was recommended to me by a friend and I’d be happy to recommend it, myself. I’d stay here again with the only difference being that I’d stay LONGER.

Nice bed and breakfast type inn. The house is old but very well-built, so it's pretty sound proof between rooms. The room was very well maintained as well. The breakfast and the option to dine in the room makes a comfortable morning. The in-room spa service was convenient. The room with the skylight windows did make me wake up much earlier than intended because of the brightness. Something to consider if you are interested in that room. Might work for early birds.

Beautiful grounds. Welcoming staff. Has a wonderful breakfast every day with wine and heavy Hors d'Oeuvres every night. Both are done in the wonderful main house. Accommodations were excellent

Perfect wedding stay

Everything was exceptional, wonderful, and all around perfect. We got married during our stay, and the property made the most beautiful and wonderful stay for our special weekend. The cottage was lovely and the breakfasts were such a special highlight of every single stay.

This is a unique property. Very close to town and restaurants and walkable. And yet you seem away from all of the hustle and bustle when you are on the property. Staff are very personable and helpful. I would recommend this property to anyone wanting a comfortable getaway
