This hotel is so much cuter than the pictures on the website. The flowers all over the property are beautifully maintained, the pool was really nice, the rooms were clean and the bathrooms were very spacious with extra space to get ready outside of the actual bathroom. Loved it.

Shower

Clean rooms - the only thing that was inconvenient was the shower faucet being on the side where the shower door is sealed. Have to step in the shower to turn on water faucet and water runs cold for a bit. Have to stay in the cold running water while turning water faucet.

El Sendero is a beautiful property! The staff was extremely kind and helpful. The restaurant inside was delicious. It's close to historic downtown, so it's within walkin distance to a lot of good food spots and places to visit and shop. I can't wait to visit again.

Comfortable stay in Santa Fe.

Had a very enjoyable experience at this hotel. Close to the main plaza in Santa Fe the hotel provides a quiet room that is clean and comfortable. Off street parking is provided and there is a nice Chinese restaurant attached to the hotel, but is apart from it.

Great Location

The best thing about this hotel was its location, only a block or so from the center of Santa Fe. Even recognizing its central location, it was overly expensive for basically a standard motel room. Cleanliness and staff were great.

Nice Place to stay in Santa Fe

This is a very nice hotel, right in the heart of the Santa Fe historic district. Literally a half block from the oldest church in the U.S., as well as (supposedly) the oldest house. About three blocks from the main plaza, the Loretto chapel is about a block over, etc. Hotel itself is nice, we needed a handicapped accessible room with roll in shower and they delivered. Bath was in fact quite nice, though the room itself was a bit on the small side. I think this is because the hotel was redone/retro fitted at some point, obviously originally an older motel redone. There was a refrigerator but no microwave. There is a pretty good Chinese restaurant attached to the hotel, also handicapped accessible. They charge for parking which is in addition to the cost of the room. Nice pool area which we did not use. Lots of pretty flowers, at least in the summer (August) which is when we stayed here. I would recommend it.

Second time staying here. Property and rooms are clean and comfortable. Less than five minutes walk from the plaza. Bathrooms need fans to pull the humidity out.
