We checked in at 2:00 pm and were told our room was ready. But if we wanted it before the “official” check-in time of 4:00 pm, we would have to pay an extra $50. Have been traveling for 40 years, and never heard this before. A money grab and shows little concern for travelers. Stayed in this hotel many times but never again.

A Santa Fe Treasure

This unique hotel, owned by the Picuris Pueblo is a unique and special place to stay. Decorated throughout with Native works of art, kiva fireplaces, earth color interiors and beautiful textiles, the staff are attentive and welcoming. They have a shuttle bus, a heated pool, a spa, a nice lounge and even music some nights. They have a nice restaurant and lounge area and they are walking distance to downtown. We have stayed there a couple of times and it is a great getaway, whether you are a tourist passing through or a New Mexico local.
