This is the hotel for the authentic Santa Fe experience. Located away from the Plaza, but within easy walking distance for everything Santa Fe has to offer. The well appointed rooms are quiet and tastefully decorated with Southwest and Native American designs. The Amaya Restaurant serves great food for any eating occasion. There is a little bar where the by the restaurant where all the waitstaff are very attentive. The entire staff and management offer you a first class experience. We have visited other hotels in Santa Fe to see if we wish to stay, but all fall short of what the Hotel Santa Fe has to offer.

We have stayed here numerous times and love it. The location is very convenient and the updated rooms are spacious and comfortable. The hot tub is clean and well maintained.

Room was clean, staff was helpful and friendly. However need more staff in bar area. One night the service was terrible. Nobody checked on our table to see if we needed drinks or a menu and when we ordered it took over 30 minutes to get the drink or food. Other guests were complaining also. Really enjoyed the Black Bear shuttle though. It was always readily available to take us where we needed to go and/or pick us up. I want to give three shouts to Jeremy. He was very hospitable the first night we were there and therefore we would seek him out when we were in the lobby. He was entertaining and helpful every time. Overall enjoyed our stay tremendously.

I would actually give our stay a 4.5 stars if I could for: - overall service - cleanliness - location - lobby area had a fun atmosphere over the Thanksgiving holiday weekend. I'd give it 2.5 stars for: - front desk check-in. The guy was not particularly friendly - I really do not see the need to have to pay a daily "resort fee" when it's NOT a resort. It's a hotel with a fee-based spa attached to it. - The rooms are clean but need updating. The couch was looking pretty rough. - The elevators also need updating.

The room is clean. The staffs are wonderful. The room service is very responsive. They responded to multiple requests from us promptly. Everyone is friendly. The parking is too small. On our last night they hosted a seminar. The people who attended the seminar took most of the parking lots, including the handicap lots. My girlfriend has the handicap card. We couldn’t not find one to park. We had to park outside of the premises

We liked everything about this hotel. There was a great bakery and a nice coffee shop across the street, two breweries and several good restaurants a short walk away and the free shuttle bus took us anywhere we wanted to go. The lobby bar has a fireplace and music every night which made it a peaceful place to have a drink. The art collection was impressive.

Didn't find staff all that friendly, ordered hot choc, presentation awful cream all dripping down the sides. Pool was covered in bugs & leaves. No tea or coffee facilities in the room. No complementary drinks of any kind in room, no water, used environmental excuse and that they had a water dispenser machine at reception....gives out cloudy warm water. Could have reusable glass bottles in rooms, 750 or 1000mls. They offer tea/coffee for a limited time in the morning at reception area. Breakfast not included. Have to say our massages were absolutely amazing albeit very expensive we would be half the price back in Scotland.
