Siete Caballos | Fireplace, Patio, Blocks to Plaza

Discover the history and wonder of one of America's most unique cities when you stay at Siete Caballos! This elegant, two-bedroom, two bath adobe casita is conveniently located only two blocks from Canyon Road's art galleries, and three blocks to the historic Santa Fe Plaza. There, in downtown Santa Fe, you can experience firsthand the original Spanish Market Square, the 17th Century Palace of the Governors, the New Mexico Museum of Art, and the Loretto Chapel with its unusual spiral staircase. You can also visit nearby pueblos and immerse yourself in the rich Native American history and culture. And with an average of 320 sunny days each year, the area around Santa Fe is a hub for skiers, mountain bikers, golfers, hikers, river rafters, and so much more! Siete Caballos is only 30 minutes from Ski Santa Fe which provides easy access to the slopes.

Ideal for smaller families or couples, this distinctive Pueblo Revival style home, built in 1895, is nestled in a quiet residential block in the Historic Eastside. Upon entering, you are enveloped by a sense of timeless serenity. The historic character and soul of this house remain intact, with impeccably added modern improvements. Siete Caballos' bright living room flooded with natural Southern light is a great place to hang out, with a corner kiva fireplace, and comfortable furniture. The casita is equipped with two Smart Tvs with cable, and high-speed Wi-Fi so you can relax, work, or study.

Santa Fe has a plethora of wonderful restaurants and coffee shops, but if you feel like having a night in, Siete Caballos' eat-in kitchen with kiva fireplace is ready to accommodate you. Fully equipped with a refrigerator, a Wolf stove, and microwave, it has all the kitchen essentials you need. You’ll have everything required to prepare anything from an elaborate meal to a toasted jalapeno bagel and cup of coffee. Walled in for privacy, the slate patio with gas grill and chimenea is a great place to enjoy dinner and a nightcap to experience the desert evening.

You’ll want to be well rested for all the great hiking opportunities the area has to offer, and Siete Caballos' comfortable bedrooms (one with a king-size bed, the other with a queen) can help you with that. Stocked with fresh, fluffy towels, the two full bathrooms mean you won't have to wait in line to shower before you head out.

Proof that convenience and charm can go hand-in-hand, Siete Caballos is the perfect base of operations for your Santa Fe getaway. So don’t let it get away from you—book your Southwestern vacation today!

Charming, convenient adobe

The place was very spacious and very conveniently located to most popular venues. The place was generously stocked with towels, detergent, etc. the whole place was very charming and had a wonderful New Mexico flair. I highly recommend this for a family or for couples.

We would come back again

The place was great. Nicely appointed, comfortable beds, great Santa Fe feel. Everything worked and it's a short walk to the Plaza and Canyon Road. The lilac bushes were in bloom! Such a pleasant get-away. Thank you Stephen!

Great location! Beautiful home!

A really beautiful traditional Santa Fe home. Perfect for two couples or couple and small family. The way the home is separated is great with bedrooms on each end and a bathroom off each bedroom. The outside seated area was nice and chill - no cushions on furniture so not super comfy. The only complaint was that it snowed and there was only two pieces of wood and no kindling so we couldn’t have a fire. I reached out to the company and they couldn’t provide wood. It would have been perfect to have a fire with all the snow.

A Charming Casita

We loved our casita…centrally located and lovely. The casita is beautifully decorated and very comfortable. We did find black bugs in the bathrooms and bedrooms. Online info was incorrect…it stated that blankets were not provided, so we packed some only to discover that they were in fact provided. We would definitely stay here again!

This property was just perfect for my daughter and I as we celebrated her birthday. The casita was just as portrayed in the photos online. It was comfortable with all the amenities. It was also a great location for easy walking distance to the heart of Santa Fe. I would highly recommend this property

Great Zozobra Location

We really loved the location. Walking distance to Zozobra and art galleries. We spent an entire day just walking around. Its not a terrible walk to the plaza (I have a bad knee, so we drove to the plaza and railyards district). The bathrooms are small. My husband is a small giant, 6’4 290lbs. The shower in the 2nd bedroom was like a coffin for him, lol. But the other bathroom has a bathtub shower, so he was fine. The place has a private, gated patio area with all the creature comforts to cook and grill. (No foil or suran wrap, but everything else). There were even a few umbrellas for us to borrow when it rained. My 12 year old didn’t like that he didn’t have a TV in his room. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay. It was quaint and relaxing and just so charming.

Comfy and cozy

The house was clean, well stocked and very comfortable for my husband and I. Our friends were unable to join us so it ended up being just us. It was a good thing since the house was much smaller than we anticipated. There were 2 very small bathrooms attached to each bedroom. Both bedrooms need dressers for clothing. I would also suggest the owners remove some of the large wooden chairs in the living room and bedroom. The exterior patio areas need updating with furniture, cushions and a covered area.

April getaway

Everything was just as we had hoped for. There is an issue with parking. One car has a dedicated spot but a second car must park on the street which is 2 hr parking only. Very awkward and difficult if you are gone all day. The other issue is that in the smaller bedroom there is no place for a suitcase let alone 2 suitcases. We were dressing in the living room.
