My wife and I were celebrating our 10th Wedding Anniversary and I called ahead to see what they could do for us and the manager Chris Beavis arranged to have some craft beer waiting for us in the room and a very nice note on behalf of the hotel staff wishing us a happy anniversary. My wife and I really appreciated it. Thanks for a great stay!

we liked to old style and history of the hotel. very charming interior and architecture. did not like the street people around at night. the first night stay we were presented with a group of street people fighting and swearing VERY loudly just below our window. this went on for an hour and a half. did not make for a good sleep.

I love the Senator hotel. The location is ideal for just about anything you wanna do in the city. Tons of places to choose to go out to eat. Midtown Plaza minutes away.

For Fathers Day I wanted to treat my husband to a historic hotel with a quality dinner. Not only was the hotel like taking a step back into history, it was comfortable, clean, spacious and beautiful! We ate at the Flanagan’s Steakhouse down stairs in the hotel. The dinning room was very Colonial, beautiful, historic, classy and the table side service was impeccable. Couldn’t have had a better experience if we tried.

It is located in a historic building in a central location. The area is a bit rough, lots of police cars and a bit loud at night. The front door of the hotel is locked for that reason, guests enter by going though a pub door or ringing a bell. The hotel itself is ok, my room was large (214) with a comfortable bed but the plumbing was so-so, the bathtub was hard to step into and there was poor water pressure. Friendly front desk staff
