Mid-Century home with beautiful views, deck, & rear fenced-in patio

This is a vintage, authentic Mid-century sprawling ranch style 4 bedroom 2 bathroom home with sweeping views of the Richardson Bay, Mt. Tamalpais, and Tiburon hillside. The single story home is tastefully furnished with high-end finishes and high thread count linens. Currently the home is set up with one of the rooms used as an office. It is located on a hill near Reed School and just a quick drive down the hill to the quaint town of Tiburon. The large, open concept living room/dining room is open to the kitchen, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. Floor to ceiling windows flood the space with natural light.

There are two spacious decks, The front deck is perfect for relaxing and looking out at the serene view. An ideal hosting space for entertaining. The rear deck is a large patio slightly above ground level which is fenced in so it's a safe play area for children or a dog (one dog allowed with additional pet fee and pre-approval of breed--please inquire). There is a large amount of storage space throughout the property. There is also a hot tub to enjoy and a treadmill for exercising in nature on the side of the front deck.

Various aspects of the home have been updated recently, such as the showerheads, the sink hardware in the bathrooms and kitchen, the cooktop, stainless steel microwave, and the dishwasher. The home also features a beautiful copper grabrail that leads to the front door, and a large new redwood deck in front. The natural California landscaped yard has several fruit trees.

Enjoyed our stay in Tiburon.

Property was great. Comfortable, clean and nice views of Richardson Bay. Plenty of space outside to gather and enjoy the weather. Short drive to downtown and the views of the Bay/San Francisco are awesome.

Work/Leisure Getaway

Nice floor plan with wonderful front and back decks. The property was clean inside and out with a few exceptions (behind drapes and in corners). Over all, the house is comfortable and functions well. A few updates would be nice such as screens on the windows and new screen sliding doors that close and lock. The host and assistant were the BEST! They made sure we were taken care of and had everything we needed. The weather was unusually warm and he provided a portable air conditioner for the master bedroom. That is above and beyond in my opinion.

Peaceful oasis

What an amazing stay! Everything we needed! The most gracious host who left us breakfast for our first morning because we arrived late and a huge bowl overflowing with fruit! He even left chilled sparkling water by our door! We couldn’t say more good things! Lemon and other assorted fruit trees on the property, lots of great outdoor space, a pristine hot tub, and the most spectacular views (especially the sunsets!). Would definitely come back to this home!

Tiburon is simply a magical place to stay. Home is simple but very functional, great views, fantastic outdoor decks (two) and a super accommodating host. Strongly recommend, my family and I will certainly return.

Handsome Mid-century Retreat

The house is a handsome and very comfortable retreat in the hills of Tiberon, with beautiful views from the wrap around terrace and a quiet meditation garden. Very peaceful and most enjoyable house. The kitchen and other facilities are well supplied. The owner/host Jeff Rappaport is very accommodating as well. We look forward to returning.

Wonderful house with amazing wrap around porch and Sausalito and Tamalpais view

The house was a wonderful gem. I rented for my husband’s 50th birthday, we did cycling all over the area. Great property, wonderful views of the water, Sausalito and Mount Tamalpais from one side of the very large porch. Multiple tables facing water for outdoor drinks and dinners. Great porch on the other side with sun deck and 2 grills, both propane and charcoal. Home was perfect - we loved the mid century feel and the location and views

Great getaway with amazing views!

Had a great stay here on a mini getaway. The views from the porch are amazing, and Jeff the owner was very helpful and accomodating (and even had a nice welcome assortment of fruits/food/beverages!). Nicely located to take advantage of Tiburon, Sausalito, and even a short drive to wineries in Sonoma. Would definitely love to come back!

Beautiful View

All was great with the house except the sound of water running in the master bedroom which occurred through out the night and early morning which was loud enough to wake us up. The guest in the other bedrooms didn’t hear the noise. The view from the front of Mt. Tam were lovely especially at sunset.

The absolute BEST VRBO I have rented!

My best friend who stayed with me at this house asked me how am I ever going to top this house. Honestly, I dont think I will. I have stayed in many VRBO rentals across the country and this one was the best by far. Six of us traveled from the east coast for a 7 day vacation. We enjoyed drinking coffee on the deck every morning. The view there was just amazing. The kitchen was very well stocked. We cooked several meals and anything we needed was there for us, including a cabinet full of seasonings. And so many beautiful plants, flowers, and fruit trees surround this beautiful house. I actually got to meet the owner Jeff due to us arriving at the house 2 hours earlier than expected. He allowed us to wait on the porch as his cleaning crew finished cleaning the house. I definitely recommend this beautiful house for your next vacation. Kimberly from North Carolina

A weekend in the hills

Great house - spacious, clean, wonderful indoor and outdoor spaces. Interior a little dated, but it goes so well with the house and time period of house that we enjoyed it! Neighbor is extremely quiet. Communication with property management was swift and efficient.

Amazing Weekend getaway!

We had a fantastic weekend here and Sarah and Matt were awesome hosts! We had our adult children and their significant others and this house was perfect. The beds were very comfy and the house was well appointed. Loved the outdoor space and the fresh fruit, chocolates, flowers and groceries they left for us were such a nice unexpected touch. thank you, we will be back!

Perfect for eighteen to celebrate Christmas

Only two families stayed at the house, but we had lots of people over during our stay. As usual Angelo had everything ready and in good shape. One of the grandchildren did some accidental damage but Angelo was nice enough to not charge us. We were delighted to find a Pack'n Play, and a simple stroller which we used a lot. We will come back a third time soon

Spectacular views, very comfortable

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this mid-century modern home. Anything we could have needed was available. The beds were comfortable and the home easily accommodated 4 couples. The house is definitely vintage and reflects the era in which it was built, but has the amenities that are needed. The views from the deck were spectacular, and it was such a quiet neighborhood. Being so close to the ferry was wonderful so that we could easily go over to Pier 39 and Fisherman's Wharf. Close to the ferry were some great coffee shops and a lovely restaurant and lounge (Tiburon Tavern) and a bit farther away were grocery stores and pharmacies. Definitely a top-notch location - it met and exceeded our expectations.

Fabulous views and serene neighborhood

This home is absolutely gorgeous and feels like a slice of time from the early 1960’s. The front deck offers a view of the interior bay and Belvedere/Tiburon that is incredible to wake up to. This home was perfect for our party of 6 and we enjoyed one night in cooking with the grill on the deck (fresh sea bass from the local market!). The home has obviously had minimal updates since it was built but I believe it adds to the charm. The only tiny complaint I had is that TV’s are hooked up in all bedrooms but are not hooked to any cable or any other image input and the water heater is loudddd throughout the whole house. Honestly - you shouldn’t be watching TV when you’re here anyway. Get out and explore. Go hike up to the Hippie Tree that’s right in this neighborhood that offers a view of the Golden Gate and Alcatraz. Definitely would come back!

Beautiful location, very accommodating

I stayed 3 days and 2 nights at Angelos property in Tiburon with 6 other friends. It was great! Close enough to Lyft to the city and far enough away to enjoy some peace and quiet. I hope to stay here again sometime soon. We took advantage of the BBQ and grill and had a great stay-in meal before going out for a night. The deck provides a breathtaking view of the Golden Gate bridge and offers enough space for an outdoor meal and games.

Great weekend trip with the family!

We loved Jeff's place in Tiburon. The rooms were all large and the beds super comfortable. There were six of us and we had plenty of room. We especially loved the huge deck with the great views. It was easy to check in and out and Jeff and his assistant were very responsive. I would highly recommend this rental.

Great value and wonderful location

The area is beautiful!! It is so convenient to the ferry. It comfortably slept our group of 7. It met all of our needs in our week stay. The large windows in the living room areas make it feel like you are outside even if you are in. A little more seating in the family room area would have been good, maybe some beanbags for the kids. Overall it was worked out well for us.
