Perfect for a short layover. The staff was incredibly friendly and the beds were super comfortable. The room was beautiful and had everything we needed. It did not have a mini fridge (we had some milk for our kiddo) but the staff brought one up to the room just for that! If you are walking over from the domestic terminal, get ready to walk to the other side of the international!

The property, staff rooms amazing. The problem was, either expedia or the fairmont didnt have our reservation on file. We had received the 24 hr confirmation via e mail from expedia, had the confirmation #'s. On Fairmont's end. It said we canceled. Nope. It all worked out, but what a headache for the start of our trip. As hitels were all booked up in Vancouver. And they said were full at the airport Fairmount . The manager was abe to accommodate us. Thank goodness. Nit sure who messed up, but I didnt need that stress at the beginning of our, (suppose to be relaxing) get away.

The bed was terribly uncomfortable, very soft and probably old. Breakfast in the room was very disappointing. The fruit bowl was a small cup with 3 blackberries, 4 blueberries and a strawberry. Potatoes were from some other era.

Stayed one night before a flight. This hotel has great rooms with comfortable beds. The beds have great pillows and linens. It is very clean. So convenient to just go down the elevator and be in the airport. This was my second stay and will definitely be back.

Airport hotels within the terminal can feel like transit camps with no sense of permanence. The Fairmont feels different: it's a Fairmont hotel first and foremost, that happens to be conveniently located inside a terminal. Staff are friendly and helpful. Restaurant and bar facilities are excellent. The room was quiet and comfortable. If we had been forced into a layover, it would have been no hardship to stay another night here.
