We did not know the laws in BC regarding booking a room and letting them Know that we had to tell them that we had a baby. He almost wasn’t going to let us stay In our booked hotel. After reading the law it states “ In British Columbia, the laws governing hotel room occupancy are based on local fire codes for safety, which means you must accurately declare the number of guests when booking to avoid violating fire codes and potentially facing fines or eviction. For a king-size room with three people, an infant is included in the total headcount, so you should book for three people. The infant is counted towards the room's occupancy limit, which is determined by local regulations, not the bed size” So legally we are allowed to bring our infant baby to sleep in our king size bed. Just need to let them know in advance. Our bad! Then once we went to the room it was really dirty! Photos

The pictures on Hotels.com do not look anything like the actual hotel. The hotel is worn, and dark. Needs some painting and an overall facelift to look like the online photos.

Had a horrible experience where we were accused of small damage to the room (hole on wall behind door) that I know for certain was not caused by us. They threatened to keep our damage deposit and cleaning staff insisted it was not there before even after trying to explain that we noticed that when we checked in but did not mention given the age and overall condition of the room in general. Warning to be aware to double check and report all damage (big or small) or they will help themselves to your damage deposit that they have already taken at check in. Its a great scam of your word against theirs when they already have your deposit!!! Have to now work with my credit card company to get it back!!!

The staff were wonderfully welcoming, helpful and understanding: a balm to overtired travellers! Although far from a new facility, the upkeep is pretty good and the cleanliness was impeccable. Airport hotels are about the sleep, and the bed was very comfortable and we heard virtually no noise. Excellent choice for a quick travel stopover!

OK and close to airport

Hotel convenient to airport - but shuttle service is an issue - website indicates it runs every 30 minutes, but it does not and if you are dropping off a rental car, the shuttle won't pick you up unless other guest arrive at the airport who haven't checked in yet. Breakfast is OK, but not much variety.
