Find a cheap Hotel in West Kensington

"This hotel was very bad, but at least they gave me a refund. TLDR, another male guest entered my room at 5am using a key card, which as a single female traveler, was probably one of the scariest moments of my life. Things that need improvement: 1. Room door had no mechanical lock, like a chain lock. 2. Dead bolt on door was not working. 3. Landline phone from room could not connect to emergency night guard nor backup reception numbers 4. Security guard did not believe that someone entered my room, until another guest reported the same thing. He told me the CCTV video didn't record it, so it didn't happen. So frustrating! In fact, it happened to 6 different rooms that morning. 5. The master staff key card was easily stolen by this "guest," whom I suspect took the card and entered different rooms, looking for a vacant one to use. The hotel needs to lock up the reception desk and keys at night. Thankfully, the young man who came in my room left without incident, but anything could have happened! Aside from that, the condition of the furniture needs improvement, my toilet didn't really flush properly, there was no soap in the bathroom, except for shower gel, and no receptionist in the lobby between 10pm-8am. Positives: good location in West Kensington, nice neighborhood, manager was courteous, comfy bed, quiet"

"Good pricing for London, located just outside of Kensington in a quite diverse neighbourhood with many interesting shops. My room was okay, everything was very clean, the beds were comfortable and the shower working, which are the most important features. There was a kettle and complimentary coffee/tea. The bathroom had the charm of an airplane toilet cabin and could use a refresher though. The staff was very friendly and helpful."

"This hotel was absolutely lovely. Very central- right next to Shepherd’s Bush underground, it took about 15-20 mins if that to get to Piccadilly circus. The hotel itself is set back in a very lovely quiet area. 5 min walk to a very luxurious shopping mall. The hotel has absolutely gorgeous decor and feels so modern and yet very cosy- the comfiest nights sleep I have had in a hotel! The staff were all so friendly and could not have been kinder. We didn’t eat there at all but it was a great base to explore London. I’m really looking forward to the swimming pool being open- I’m not one to go back to the same place twice but this was so ideal and at a very good price that I can’t not come back!"

"It was my second time staying here, and unfortunately the experience was not as good. Facilities, cleanliness all were fine but the difference was this time I got a room at the front of the property. I didn’t look to be on a particularly busy road, but the traffic noise was quite bad for most of the night. The owners must recognise this issue as they gave away ear plugs in the room. This is a good touch, but sadly didn’t work for me and i didn’t get a good nights sleep. If you are a light sleeper perhaps bring ear plugs that you know to work, otherwise it could be a problem. The room I had at the back of the property was fine, but I was not so lucky this time. It’s a shame to report this, as otherwise it is really good accommodation."
