So far the service has been great. Front desk called within minutes of me getting to my room to check that my room was satisfactory and see if I needed anything. Hilda was very friendly, efficient and informative!
Check in was easy and quick, the room was nice and accommodating. Looks like it had been recently upgraded. Was simple and perfect for an overnight while we were staying in town.
Area was nice & easy to find. Person who assisted in the 1st checkin was friendly but let me know my card would be charged an extra $100 deposit in case I damaged the room. While this money would be refunded it could take up to 5 days for it to appear back in my account.
Check out our room on the 2nd floor. The people directly below us were sitting outside their rooms smoking. The staircase was filthy, the room while clean, was shabby. And the AC unit did not work.
Back to front desk where another person assisted me. Explained to her about the AC and the smoke. Requested a room with a working AC unit & as far away from the smoke as possible since the smell permeated the whole area.
She offered no apologies for the AC & said smoking was legal in New Mexico so she probably wouldnât be able to help me with that problem.
Insisted that she find me a room with AC & as far away from the known smokers as possible.
She offered me downstairs next to them. Now feeling like I was in a Monty Python skit, I explained to her moving me downstairs next to the smokers was not away from them. It was in fact, closer to them.
We had a short staring contest before she offered me a room on the 3rd floor corner, away from the smokers.
Room was a lot nicer than the 1st. The AC worked & it wasnât as shabby. The elevator was gross with mud puddles from people using the pool.
Room was quiet & comfy.
Check out was friendly.
Facilities gross, rooms & staff, depends on who/what you get.
Booked a suite that was supposed to sleep 7 but when we got there the room only slept 5. When asked the front desk about getting a roll away bed, they said they don't do that and could only give extra bedding to make beds on the floor. Then the toilet backed up and we called the front desk again. We were told to come grab a plunger.
Everything from the room to the breakfast were good. Minor complaint the tv was not up to my standards. The front desk was very receptive and friendly and noted the problem.
Itâs not a bad place for the price - itâs not the fanciest place in town but it will suffice for a night or two. It was pretty clean and comfortable so I canât complain. Staff has always been nice here - I have been coming for the last 5 years or so.
The staff was fantastic but most of the lights didnât work in either side of the room and there was a good amount of hair in the bathtub. The area was quiet and felt safe.
