I stayed at Hilton Boston Park Plaza and overall had a good experience, but there were some disappointing issues. The hotel itself is clean, well-maintained, and very nice, and the location is excellent—perfect for exploring Boston. However, the check-in experience was not smooth. I arrived around 8 pm and was told my room was not ready. My original reservation was for a room with two queen-size beds and a view, but I was offered a smaller room instead because my reserved room had apparently been given to someone else. To their credit, the staff did try to make it right by offering breakfast vouchers for my stay and mentioning that I would receive a partial refund. Unfortunately, I never received that refund, which was disappointing. During my stay, the room faced the interior courtyard, which is completely surrounded by HVAC units. It was quite loud at night, and on top of that, the air conditioning unit in the room was extremely noisy. Keeping it on overnight was not possible, but turning it off meant waking up freezing in the morning. Overall, the hotel is nice and the location is hard to beat, but room assignment issues, noise problems, and the unfulfilled refund promise took away from what could have been a great stay.

Staff were friendly at check in. The sheets were thin and papery, disappointing. The bathroom was very small, dated, and the water pressure was terrible. You can't stream apps like Netflix and the TV guide didn't tell you what was on channels, it only listed the channel - very weird. The gym was VERY nice, though! It was a real gym attached to the hotel.

We loved our stay! The hotel was decorated beautifully for Christmas when we arrived, which was nice! Will definitely be coming back to stay here next time we’re in Boston.
