Upscale Unit 3 at Perrin Place
This newly renovated apartment features all modern amenities. Open concept living at its finest. Three adequately sized bedrooms and two bathrooms. Relax and/or have your morning coffee on the front porch. Two of the bedrooms are centered by a modern bathroom while the main bedroom will allow you to release the days stresses in its en-suite steam shower. The kitchen is beautifully designed with ample space at the quartz topped center island. This unit is our latest and best designed. Close to public transportation, highway access, and many of Boston's reputable hospitals. Not to mention less than ten minutes from airport and the center of Boston and all its attractions.
Nicely decorated and clean. Updated throughout. A drip coffee maker with filters and provided coffee grounds would have just put it at 5 stars! Thank you for the hospitality.
The space itself was very spacious and clean. Immediate neighborhood was very nice and quiet. We enjoyed sitting out on the deck with our coffee in the morning. FYI: there is only bar seating and a high-top table for eating and only a Keurig coffee maker â make sure to bring your own pods, they are not provided. They also do not provide laundry soap, dish soap or dishwasher soap.A few issues we ran into:âąThere are no true grocery stores within walking distance of the home.âąThere are no true restaurants within walking distance of the home â just bodegasâąWe had trouble with the plumbing â it looks like the owner installed low-flow toilets and they were constantly getting plugged. We were VERY careful how much toilet paper we used and they still plugged very easily.âąThere seemed to be some weird issue with the internet â we couldnât get our streaming services to work on the main TV. We even tried going through a laptop, with no luck.
House is fantastic, loved the layout and it's really quiet and nice. Neighborhood is a bit rough and the street parking is dangerous, it's a two way street but you can park on both sides so it's really one lane with two way traffic, we saw a car get hit down the street. There is NO off street parking for this unit and don't ask about it or the unit manager will jump down your throat. Shower handle kept falling off and they had an ant problem while we were there unfortunately but I really loved the unit and it worked great for us for our Boston trip.
Very clean. Very roomy. Comfortable. Nice kitchen. Owner responded promptly. Our main frustration was that it advertised "parking available." This turned out to be having to find on-street parking in a city where that is often difficult. And we weren't aware that if you're parked on the wrong side of the street on certain Tuesday mornings, you receive a fine and have your car towed. We found that out the hard way! Had the parking issues been made clearer ahead of time and the advertisement of available parking not been misleading, we would have given the stay a higher rating.
This property was perfect for us. Clean, spacious, with 3 great sized comfortable bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. John was a great host, super responsive and worked with us for an early check in when our flight plans got changed. He was awesome! Just a quick Uber ride to Fenway and downtown. Would absolutely recommend this place!
The building was beautifully renovated. Check in was easy and there was ample free parking on the street. Minor issue with the thermostat which was resolved with the landlord quickly and completely. Everything was clean and comfortable!
We had a lovely time at Perrin Place. The home was pristine and had everything we needed. It was close enough to everything for us to easily Uber everywhere. Communication wasn't always responsive - I had to write 2 times to adjust my dates and the cost wasn't updated when I changed my dates, but I think those are VRBO issues not all on the owner.I would stay at Perrin place again. We had a wonderful family vacation!
This house has almost everything you need for a perfect stay in Boston. It's huge, with 3 large bedrooms and two lovely bathrooms. Plenty of kitchen space with all the necessary equipment. The main thing missing is coffee- there's a kettle and a Keurig, but no pods or French Press (unless you're the next couple of first to stay, as we left the pods we didn't use). We had both brought ground coffee with us but there was no way to brew it and there were no Keurig pods in the house. Not a deal breaker, but just something to know before you go. We had a plumbing issue while we were there and the owners got back to me quickly to help us fix it.
This was the perfect location for lifelong friends from four states to gather! Close to all the major attractions in Boston. The condo is clean, modern and inviting. The beds are very comfortable and the steam shower was awesome! We had three cars and there was always street parking right in front. The kitchen had everything we needed except a cutting board. I highly recommend this property!!
This is a great property. One thing to be prepared for, though, is the winding flight of stairs when you enter the door. Other than dragging my suitcase up those, our stay was perfect.
All four of us seniors walked in and said wow! We were in Boston for a day and a half while we waited for our cruise and we were just as impressed when we left as when we arrived.
The interior was wonderful and the amenities were great. Especially liked the steam shower. Off street parking would have been great. Neighborhood is going thru a redevelopment.
We loved the unit 3 condo. It had a very minimalist feel to it. The kitchen had most of what we needed. As we drove to the street I was a bit worried about the neighborhood of the near by streets. I would not have been comfortable walking the neighborhoods. But the street, Perrin Place, was not an issue and the houses were nice and being renovated on Perrin Place. Thank you for a nice stay.
The house itself is great, spacious and modern - everything you would want really and close to downtown Boston at a good price. The house itself was safe and the local street was safe but we were advised not to wander around the neighbourhood. Short trips during the day were fine and a walk to the local train station was fine. One evening out for dinner at a local fast food venue, we were greeted by a man asking for food and the place seemed volatile/disorganised. You will likely want to find entertainment/food elsewhere. Driving into the property at night through south Boston is an eye opener, many homeless and visible drug taking - I only mention it as I expect most who stay here will likely experience it at least once. So if you need a nice place to stay and plan to uber around then I would still recommend the place for the price.
John was a great host! Timely responses and beautiful home. Will definitely stay here on business travel as well, for more privacy and better way to host clients after dinner for drinks.
Thanks John for your hospitality!
