â 5 Star Reviews from our past guests: The Airbnb was lovely - it was beyond my expectations when I walked in, charming, cozy, elegant and the amenities we very thoughtful. The land was peaceful, beautiful and very accommodating. Anna was great to communicate with and the owner's were wonderful! Whether you are traveling alone or with a group or family this would be a great place to stay - I highly recommend it! - Emily
We loved staying at this serene home. We celebrated New Years Eve as a family, playing games and singing songs. We're a loud family, so being in the country removed the worry that we needed to lower our voices. The home is a fantastic throwback, though very well cared for and updated. It's like staying at Grandma's for the weekend. Everything you need is there! Lots of spices in the kitchen, full set of pots & pans, butter, and condiments in the fridge. We also appreciated the shampoo, conditioner, and body wash in the shower. Thanks for a great stay! highly recommend! - Kerri

Very charming, quiet little cottage. The property was quiet and conveniently located near several sites of interest. The host was accommodating, friendly, and on point. I would not hesitate to book again if heading to the Williamsburg VA area.
a very pleasant and peaceful surrounding to a house that displayed a colonial atmosphere as the guests open the front door. . Every room were spacious and well provided for the stay. The outside grounds were a delight for Mimi and Marco. Overall a sparkling memory .
My husband and I and two close friends biked the Capital Trail to Charles City. We spent two nights at this perfect location. It was very close to the trail and two lovely local restaurants. We were also able to bike to Berkeley Plantation and back on our second day. The patio that overlooked an open field provided us with beautiful sunsets. Our host was very responsive to our needs. We appreciated the popcorn which was our nightly treat after an early dinner and day of biking.
Very private, you can see the other house but far enough away for privacy. Home is comfortable and presents well. Kitchen is large and plenty of seating. Loved the primary bedroom, seating and closet space, so bright and sunny throughout the whole house. We enjoyed walking down the driveway daily towards the park, and the restaurant across the street was good, ate there twice.Shower was large and having the extra 1/2 bath made the stay better.A few negatives would be the full size bed in 2nd bedroom wasnât comfortable, too hard for me. The cold water did have a supper smell in the kitchen, there is Brita filter but we ended up buying water too.We enjoyed our stay.
Wow , What a treat . House was the cutest cottage with everything you could ask for . Just a wonderful peaceful environment inside and out . Beautiful propery , got to meet the owner , who was so nice and on top of that play with his friendly pups ! The house is so close to the plantations that we toured on the James and two great restaurants ( can see one from the house ) . Would definately rent again .
Seems like some VRBO hosts are omitting everything possible, like moving into a shell of a home. Not this one! Our host was considerate like you'd expect a proper hotel should be -- no need to run around to a store to pick up a little shampoo if you forgot it. Extremely communicative from the moment we booked, which was another above and beyond aspect.
Traveled from Myrtle Beach for niece's wedding at Burlington. Perfect cottage for our overnight stay. Cottage was exceptionally clean and accommodating. Sorry we weren't there long enough to enjoy the patio firepit or fireplaces. Anna (Host) was magnificent and very responsive when looking to book last minute. Appreciate the kind welcome note for our arrival. So glad we canceled hotel reservations 15 miles further from our event. The drive to wedding was less than 10 minutes. Very quaint & peaceful!!!! Thanks again!!!! 5 STARS for sure!!!!
