This Best Western has seen better days. The elevators are tiny. The handicap lift was out of service, the rooftop outdoor seating has seen better days. The air conditioner in our room was very noisy. And we got all of this for almost $400 a night (including taxes and whatever other stuff they charge you for). We had a suite, which provided extra space, but the furniture is old and not comfortable. The staff we talked to were friendly enough, but it wasn't worth the price by any means. We used the pool and it wasn't bad. Not to much chlorine hung in the air. I chose it for the pool, options of places with pools were limited. In the future I will forego the pool for location convenience and a more up-to-date hotel.

I got the room for $118, so you can't complain much but have seen this location at more than double that rate which it is not worth it compared to others I have stayed at in Chicago. Room was run down and the heating/cooling didn't work. room stayed at 70 which is fine but if it was a hot or cold day, it would have been miserable.

Every big attraction was about a 15 minute walk. We walked everywhere for two days. Loved the area. Room was clean. No complaints. We didn’t check out the pool or any amenities so can’t speak on that. We did parked down the street for half the price of parking at the hotel - only thing is at the hotel you can go and come from the garage, where we decided to park there was no reentry but we were okay with that since we walked everywhere.

The property was as basic as it can be. I discovered that my bedding had several yellow stains on it, it was white. The stains were hidden under a white sheet. When i informed the front desk. No apologies. Just someone who showed up an hr later to hand me sheets and a thin throw blanket. The appropriate customer service should have been an apology, a replacement of the same comforter but clean and stain free. And the staff should have made the bed with the new comforter instead of handing me a bag.

Dude, the beds were super uncomfortable and totally worn out, and the pillows were lumpy messes. Plus, the shower in room 423 is falling apart—major trip hazard! And get this, I couldn't get anyone at the front desk, so I went down there to find a security guard who said the clerk would be back soon. I asked about parking, and he said not to worry about paying because no one's ever been towed. That didn't sit right with me, so I used the app and paid anyway.
