Auberge de jeunesse prĂšs de Millennium Park Ă Chicago
There's a restaurant on site, as well as a coffee shop/cafe. WiFi is free in public spaces. There are 2 meeting rooms available. A library, a vending machine, and multilingual staff are also featured at HI Chicago Hostel.
The location is the best. You are close to everything (restaurants, bars, museums, subway station) and even though it may not look like it (there are homeless people living in front of the building) itâs really safe. I am a woman travelling solo and I had no issues.
The staff was really friendly, I recommend booking an activity with them (I did the free walking tour and shout out to Paul, he was the kindest man ever).
100/100 recommand and Iâll go back again.
I wonât be too harsh on this property, it could just be for my last minute booking to stay somewhere close to the venue. It was affordable especially being so last minute, the room and bathrooms were clean. Some staff members were nice a few others not so much. Iâm a light sleeper so late at night you could hear every time someone closed their door especially if they let it slam behind them. Overall I give it a 3.5 out of 5 especially if youâre in a travel crunch and only need to sleep overnight before driving another 8-10 hours.
