The Space:

Morning light filters across the lanai as soft ocean breezes move through the space, carrying the energy of Waikiki below. From this elevated perch, you can ease into the day with coffee and open views that stretch from the city skyline toward the water, then step out whenever the beach or nearby streets call. Evenings settle into a slower rhythm, with the glow of the skyline and the comfort of your own private retreat above it all.



Sleeping arrangements

Designed for up to 4 guests, the condo features a separate bedroom with a king bed, divided from the living area by a sliding panel door that offers privacy while keeping an open flow. In the living room, a pull-out sleeper sofa provides additional sleeping space, best suited for children or occasional use. Room-darkening shades and comfortable linens support restful nights after full days exploring Honolulu.



Living space and comfort

The main living area invites you to unwind at your own pace, whether you’re watching a movie on the TV or catching up using wifi and Ethernet. A window AC unit helps keep the space comfortable in Honolulu’s warm climate, while a private entrance and keypad self check-in provide flexibility from arrival through departure.



Kitchen and dining

A full kitchen allows you to prepare meals whenever you like, with space to cook, dine, and gather. Enjoy casual meals at the dining table or take advantage of the lanai’s outdoor dining area when the breeze is just right. Whether it’s a quick breakfast before heading out or a relaxed evening meal, the space supports easy, at-home dining.



Outdoor living

The private patio or balcony extends your living space outdoors, offering a quiet spot to take in the city skyline view and surrounding scenery. Free parking garage on premises - 1 space - adds convenience, along with an EV charger - level 2 available on site. Paid washer and paid dryer facilities are located in the building. Guests also have access to shared amenities including a sauna, as well as an outdoor pool and shared hot tub (currently under renovation). Elevator access and a single level home layout with no stairs in the unit make getting around simple and accessible.

✹RECREATION DECK (6TH FLOOR)

The recreation deck at Waikiki Banyan is currently undergoing a complete transformation and is scheduled to officially reopen on May 18, 2026.



Once completed, this will be the largest recreation deck in Waikiki, entirely rebuilt with all-new amenities, landscaping, and furniture. The redesigned space will include:

‱ Three brand-new hot tubs

‱ A brand-new sauna

‱ All new loungers and daybeds

‱ Modern barbecue and grill stations with seating

Good Property

Overall, we had a good stay at this property. But the experience we had with the nonworking elevators made it very frustrating. Here were our thoughts about our stay: Pros: -The property is as pictured.-The property provided one free parking spot (with in and out privileges) for our stay. -The property manager/host was very prompt with communication. -The property is very conveniently located and easily walkable to the Waikiki strip. Cons:-During our stay, there was only ONE working elevator (out of 4 total elevators). This was very inconvenient as we’d have to wait for more than 15 minutes every time trying to catch an elevator. Once an elevator would reach our floor it would already be filled to the brim with people who were coming down from higher floors. This was very frustrating as guests. -The primary bedroom does not have good air flow and no AC so it would get very warm overnight if the room door was closed. Since there was no AC in the room we would use the fan provided to help cool the room down but it was not very convenient as the fan would take up space. -The property was stingy on towels. They only provided one bath towel and one beach towel per guest for our entire stay. When we asked for an extra set of bath towels, they said it could be provided for an additional cost per towel (3 per towel).
