Welcome to La Quinta Modern, a peaceful getaway in the Palm Springs desert! Spacious and open concept, with floor to ceiling windows, tons of light, chef's kitchen and four bedrooms - each with its own bathroom, TV and exterior entrance. The yard is walled with ficus for privacy and has a saltwater pool & spa, outdoor shower, lounge chairs, hammock, BBQ and outdoor dining. All with stunning views of the Santa Rosa Mountains - walking distance to Old Town La Quinta with dining, shops and live music. (Permit #065244)

More about the outdoors: Located on a quarter of an acre, with mature hedges, palm trees and grassy areas. The private pool and spa is surrounded by lounge chairs, umbrellas and has a convenient pool shower.

More about the indoors: The great room features a wall mounted TV, comfortable seating and views out to the pool. It opens to the expansive kitchen with Viking 6 burner gas range and oven, refrigerator, microwave and dishwasher. Dining table has seating for 12.

Bedrooms: The Primary Suite has a King bed, TV and floor to ceiling windows. Private sliding doors lead to the pool and spa. En suite bath features a huge shower with 2 rain shower heads. Dual sinks.

Suite 2 has a King bed, full size crib, TV, mountain views and exterior door to the enclosed front yard. The en-suite bathroom has a shower and sink.

Suite 3 has two Queen beds, TV, mountain views and exterior door to the enclosed front yard. The en-suite bathroom has a shower and sink.

Suite 4 has a King bed, TV and exterior sliding doors to the back yard. En-suite bathroom has a shower and sink. All bathrooms have overhead rain shower heads and faux river rock flooring. The great room also has a half bath.

Other Info: Garage is not accessible to guests. Plenty of driveway and street parking, however, please always be respectful of neighbors who are not on vacation with regards to parking. Total parking for 4 cars. Driveway parking for 2, street parking for 2. Wireless internet. Linens, bath and pool towels are provided. Fully equipped laundry room with washer, dryer, ironing board and iron.

In one of the very best locations, walking distance to quaint Old Town, minutes from top golf resorts, La Quinta Resort and Indian Wells Tennis Gardens. 5 miles from the Empire Polo Club, La Quinta Resort. Perfect for friends, golf groups, couples and family gatherings.

Accessibility info for Disabled Guests!
- The front gate, and front door are both double wide, plenty of room to enter.
- We have a ramp that can be requested to help get over the lip of the front door.
- The Primary Suite and one other bedroom doorway are just wide enough for a wheelchair to fit through.
- The floor plan in the kitchen and living spaces have plenty of wide-open spaces to maneuver a wheelchair.
- The Primary bathroom shower has a wide glass door, and a shower chair if requested.
- We do not have any water closets in the bathrooms that can fit a wheelchair, Guests may need assistance.
- While we do not have a lift for the pool, there is plenty of space around the pool to maneuver a wheelchair, and the pool can be heated for comfort.

La Quinta Permit #065244 -The City of La Quinta is committed to creating an environment where renters are welcome, yet strongly encouraged to respect the neighbors and neighborhoods in which they are renting. All neighbors have a hotline to call and report noise. Fines range from $1000-5000 and are passed on to guests. After 3 citations the home’s rental permit can be revoked, so it is imperative to be respectful of the neighborhood.

-Quiet hours are 10pm-8am. The spa heat and outdoor lights shut off at 10pm. Audible sound or music should not be heard at the property line, whether day or night. Absolutely no parties. This is a quiet, residential neighborhood with neighbors right next door on all sides. Only book this home if your group can follow this very important rule. Thank you!

Great place with all the amenities!!!

The house was great, all the amenities and the appliances in the kitchen were beyond amazing! The kitchen had a professional stove as well. Another plus was that each bedroom had an attached bathroom. We stayed with a young child and they had all we needed, crib, high chair and playpen. It was clean and lots of outdoor grass space as well. Host was also very accommodating and responsive. We enjoyed our stay and would come visit again!

Family Holiday trip

Very comfortable stay! We traveled with our adult children to enjoy golf & hiking after Christmas. The home was perfect with individual suites that allowed everyone to have equal separate space and the kitchen/dining & living space was perfect for our group. The spa & pool worked flawlessly and were enjoyed every day. Great location for golf & hiking and wonderful restaurants. We loved it!

This is our 2nd year staying here. Really enjoy the house. Having 4 suites is very nice. Yes, the primary is larger, but no one really feels like they are not getting a good room. Location to old town La Quinta is excellent. Only about 4 blocks. It was really hot the weekend we went, and we walked to dinner. Manager was very prompt to any questions (all before we went because we had no problems during the stay) Definitely hope to stay again.

Not as advertised

I learned that I need to now ask if pictures are current when renting a VRBO because I rented this place months in advance based off the pictures of the pool and seating and outdoor environment and the place looked very run down, and nothing like the pictures that sold me on the experience we wanted to create. The owner did her best to rectify the situation but sadly it definitely took a toll on our enjoyment of the trip because it felt like 2 + days of work to get it remotely feeling like what we had signed up for. There were a lot of little things that just made the property feel like it wasn't truly prepared for the guests arrivals, cleanliness (inside and out), remotes, supplies, too many to list, loose fixtures etc. I hope she updates her photos to be reflective of the true state of the property & find people who know how to truly set up an VRBOso it's ready for guests so people like us don't feel misled by the pictures that sell us on a VRBO trip.

Walk to Old Town

Perfect location to walk to Old Town. You could also walk to the hiking trails but be prepared for about a 2 mile walk each way just to get to the trails. The house is decorated slightly different than the pictures and in need of some TLC. The kitchen was well stocked and we were grateful to have been provided with dishwashing and laundry detergent, paper towels, some condiments and plastic wrap and aluminum foil.

Roomy, well stocked, good location for restaurants ie Sand Bar, comfortable beds, great for large groups. Didn't use pool or spa. Plumbing in 2 bedroom bathrooms needs attention, faucets leak.

Good house for 4 couples

The house accommodated 4 couples nicely, with each of the 4 bedrooms having an ensuite. The commercial ice machine was great because we didn't have to buy ice for the cooler. It was walking distance to downtown La Quinta, so we had a great dinner at El Ranchito during our stay. Emily was quick to respond when we needed assistance with the spa. We did enjoy our stay but we think the house could use a little TLC inside (fresh paint, replace missing recessed light in the kitchen) along with more cleaning supplies. As for the description of the property, note that the concrete floors are just painted however this ended up working out since we had to bring in our 8 golf bags from the van each evening and didn't find out until we received our checkin instructions that we didn't have access to the garage. The description did state driveway parking for 2, street parking for 2 however we didn't interpret that as having absolutely no access to the garage.

Fantastic property!

Fantastic property in a safe neighborhood. Great parking, location, and fully stocked. Fast wi-fi and was able to work from home, as well as easily access town and local amenties. Would highly recommend!

Holiday weekend stay

The house was a great fit for what we were looking for; it was spacious and comfortable. My husband & I and 2 other couples spent 2 nights over the Memorial Day weekend celebrating my birthday. The weather was a perfect escape of the May gray. We enjoyed the pool and hot tub, as well as the outdoor grill. We would definitely recommend it to family and friends.
