Hotel is in a remote area , no shopping centers, restaurants or museums at walking distance. You need to take a taxi for any activities. There is only one Restaurant inside the hotel . Finally, I made 3 night reservations at the hotel few weeks ago, but I had to cancel last night to return home at US for an urgent reason, But the staff refused to reimburse me back for the last night , even I requested that more than 24 h before I left after 2 nights stay . There are many nicer hotels and close to city center than this one .

Intercontinental Lisbon is nicely located for walkable tour and shopping with safety. They deserve a 5 star hotel rating with different services.

The InterContinental was elegant and the room spacious and beautiful. The staff was extraordinarily friendly and helpful. (I just wish the electrical and bath controls were intuitive and not complicated.)

Great place to stay if you want to be out of the fray of the bustle of the city but still have easy access by public transport/uber. We drove into Lisbon and left our car at the hotel as we explored the city.
