There was a loud humming when the AC was on, which was sparingly as it really wasn't working. There were only 3 outlets in the entire room, which made it a little more challenging to work. The curtain fell off in the middle of the day, the toilet seat was sliding around, the overall ambiance of the room was dull as there wasn't a single picture on the wall and there was nowhere to hang my clothes which was disappointing as i brought a suit. The staff was very nice though. The bar was supposed to open at 3pm, but the "owner" of the bar wasn't showing up until 5pm, so the bar was not able to be used. Although the visit wasn't the most pleasant, it was manageable.

Staff was friendly. Hotel gave me a very “transient” vibe. There was a distinct smell throughout the halls to my room. I was on the 3rd floor. I did have a cute small balcony that was accessed thru a window. AC made a lot of noise that it made it hard to sleep. They do provide ear plugs which I found interesting. I think that he AC self adjusts because somehow it went up like 5 degrees during the night. I was only there 1 night so I didn’t get the full experience. But the bed was lumpy and although there were 4 pillows on the bed, they were more like squares than pillows. When u opened them up they were pretty flat. It’s definitely a bargain to be in Santa Monica but I don’t think I’d stay there again. :( sorry

We would not recommend this hotel. The room we booked and paid for was overbooked and we were put in a tiny room with an AC unit that would only run 1 hour at a time. It was an awful sleep and similar to staying in a hostel.

We are writing to express our deep disappointment with the quality of our recent stay at your hotel. During our entire 3-day visit, there was no access to hot water, which made our stay extremely uncomfortable—especially given the cold weather and the fact that we were traveling with our two young daughters. This issue significantly impacted our limited time in Los Angeles and turned what should have been an enjoyable trip into a very unpleasant experience.

My stay was pretty good outside the fact that they gave us a room that smelled like smoke . Manager offered to switch room the next day and gave us a few dollars off parking . Plenty food options nearby and public transportation as well. I think we would stay here again .
