A very handy location near Atocha and the Palos de Frontera metro station. The building was in a good state of repair as was the room and all very clean. And it was good to note that further upgrades were also being done with a new kitchen in the adjacent apartment. We were there 2 weeks and had 2 linen changes which was fine. The road outside was busy during the day but only due to a local diversion cause by road works nearby but we hardly noticed. And it was quiet at night. 3 grocery stores nearby as well as cafes and restaurants. The Atocha Tandoori was excellent (albeit not exactly Spanish) but El Roble was Spanish and super friendly but no one speaks English. Overall great apartments, hard to beat within walking distance as I say of Atocha, Retiro, Prado. With a few stops on the metro to Sol, everything else you would want to see is in easy reach too. Top marks to Erik Vokel.

We stayed in the property for 3 days and hot water was out on the 3rd night. The reception closes at 5pm so we ended up with no hot water that night and the next morning. We also had bad experience with coffee capsule supply. On the 2nd day we found there was no more coffee capsule so we went down to the reception office to ask for more and was told that we only get the first day coffee supply. This made me feel uncomfortable.

Excellent - highly recommend it

We had a great stay at the Eric Vokel Boutique Apartments. The check-in was very staightforward and the apartment was immaculately clean. Had we arrived before the check-in time there are lockers to store your belongings until the check-in time. There was everything we needed and more and the location was very close to the train station. Also very close to a metro station and nice cafes around to get breakfast if you didn't want to eat in. An excellent place to stay

The cleanliness was superb. Liked the sample of coffee, tea, and condiments. Appreciate that a small cleaning kit was provided which contained sponge dish soap, two towels, and laundry detergent. Bathroom had amenities. Very close to two supermarkets and public transportation. Liked that some historical sites were nearby. The only issue I had was that the shower/ bathtub lacked safety grips in tub or a grab bar ( tub was slippery during shower).

Great location for the train a metro . Clean and as advertised. Very strict on cheek in time, room was ready but would not let u in untill 3pm.. room above use was being repaired so hammers were going at 8:30….

This apartment was clean, comfortable, and perfectly located just a few blocks from Atocha Station. Though our stay was brief due to an early train, we found everything in excellent order. Check-in was seamless, and the front desk staff was friendly—a rare and welcome surprise for this type of accommodation in Spain. Highly recommend for anyone needing a convenient and pleasant stopover!

The location was good in that it was close to the train station and fairly close to museums. Good restaurants were not close. Biggest complaint is regarding amenities. No clean towels or extras like coffee or toilet paper, which understandable for a long term stay. There were no paper goods (napkins, paper towels) either. For short stays, it doesn’t make sense to make guests purchase all of that for themselves.

Beautiful apartment. Very clean and it’s located near shops and tourist area. We walked around Madrid most of the time because it’s so convinient. Staff are friendly and accommodating. We will stay there again if we visit the city.

Todo el alojamiento estuvo bien, super limpio y el lugar muy cómodo y espacioso. Sin embargo nosotros nos quedamos 4 noches y la segunda noche se tiro un breaker, se fue la luz por un momento y dejo de funcionar la televisión y los toma corrientes de los cuartos, avisamos a recepción al otro día y nos dijeron que iban a mandar a alguien a revisar y pues no lo mandaron. Fuera de eso, lo demás estuvo bien.
