Not much to like about the property. We booked thinking it would be clean since it had decent ratings and said it was newly remodeled. It definitely was not clean. Yes recently remodeled rooms, but they haven’t kept up on them.

The property is older which was not a problem, but the lack of cleanliness was not acceptable. It was right by the beach which was great but we will not stay again. The check in process was tedious and the room was not available at the stated check in time.

We stayed one night due to a delayed flight. They had a decent priced room close to the airport and a couple restaurants. We had a great ocean view and watched the sunrise from our balcony.

The television in our room did not work at all for the entire stay. I asked for help several times a day and was promised they would come fix it but they never came.i was told by one employee there was nothing she could do about it. When checking out I told the front desk & the general manager but felt they were unconcerned. Housekeeping never touched our room. The hotel is dated and kind of dirty.

It was ok

the hot tub was not working so could not use that and was not told that at reservation time or at check in. There is not enough parking in their lot for rooms they have so if u dont get there real early u wont get a spot u have to park across the street. Only 1 elevator worked. And the ice machine was missing on our floor so had to go down to first floor to get it and we were on the 8th floor. No real dresser in room just shelves to share. Not many plugs in the room and i have a cpap machine so that was a problem.

Being on the beach was great. The only saving grace for this property. Rooms were in poor condition. Doors cracked or hard to open or close. Sink drain didn’t work. Hot tub out of order. First floor was more like work basement than appropriate hotel floor. I would not stay here again.

We had a great view. The beds were the most comfortable I’ve slept in in any hotel or condo or house! The room was pleasant and roomy with a nice bathroom with a walk in shower. It’s an older hotel but seems to be getting some loving care. My only complaint is that the floor was dirty and I don’t mean with sand. So much so that after the first hour we were there we decided we had to wear our sandals the rest of our time there when in the room.

The truth!

The pictures online do not give an accurate representation of the hotel. The rooms were outdated and the halls of the hotel were unclean. There were loud noises from construction and the old air conditioning unit. It smelled of marijuana!

We were looking forward to this trip for our son's birthday . Pool looked dirty. Jacuzzi was not working (we saw people had complained abpit this a month earlier, but thought it would have been fixed by the time we checked in) It was the 4 of July holiday. The price we payed was WAY over priced, outdated. Book elsewhere

We Couldn’t Stay One Night

When we got to Tropical Seas there was confusion about how my After Pay worked. The front desk manager was nice but confusing. We paid for the stay and checked in. The lobby had a really strong smell of some type of air freshener and it was bad. Walking to our room the hallways smelled like pee and were dirty, as was the elevator. I didn’t want to put my suitcase down. We got to the room and it smelled bad. I get migraines and if I had tried to stay in that room I would have been in pain. The floors in the bathroom were dirty and the balcony had two cheap plastic chairs. I was really upset. I cried but my husband calmed me down. We decided to leave and loose our money. My husband went to the front desk and told them our issues and luckily they refunded all but one night. The hotel room looks much nicer in the pics. I got the feeling this might be more of a party hotel. The front desk manager was helpful and was able to refund 2 nights. The customer service was good and helpful. The hotel just isn’t as nice as the pictures and the reviews don’t match what I saw.
