Fantastic value and comfort

Shuttle to and from JFK was great. The room was clean. The bed was incredibly comfortable with nice linens. Bath was modern. Breakfast was very good and quick. Best of all, the hotel was DEAD QUIET! I kid you not. I didn't hear anything in the hallway or outside. The staff was great with efficient check-in and check out. 100 % Would stay here again.

Let's face it - this is an airport hotel in a so-so part of Queens. Our expectations were fairly low. But we were pleasantly surprised that the bedding & bathroom were immaculately clean and the building's noise proofing worked well despite being located on a busy street. The bed was pretty comfy too, though after the redeye from London we could have slept on a bed of nails.

The AC unit in the room will not run correctly. It either continuously heats the room or continuously cools it. Does not stop running no matter the setting. It also emits an odor. Fills the whole room.

Our pickup started the list of negatives - we were not able to contact the hotel to arrange for a pickup. We ended up taking another Marriott affiliated shuttle only to be told that they could not provide transportation to our hotel. Ended up calling an Uber for the short ride over (less than a mile). Also, paid over $500/night for a substandard room. Checking the advertised rates they had dropped significantly from our original booking months ago - less than half of our rate. And on top of that, the room smelled like mold - a strong musty odor. Extremely disappointing with this aspect of our trip - usually have outstanding experience with Marriott properties but will be thinking twice about using them on our next trip through New York.

Good breakfast safty When I was at the dining room, a crazy man was yelling all the time.Even he was fighting with staff. Fortunately ploce came and controlled the man. It was quite unsafe in the hotel.

JFK 1 night stay
