This stay was booked because it’s “close” to JFK (still a 25 min drive) and affordable. However, this was the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. The first room they gave us had no bedding (no blankets / pillows), room was very dirty and full of actual cigarette smoke. The smoke detector had a plastic bag tied around it. The door and walls had dust holes and dents. The room had what I would call a “sex” chair that was also not clean from the look of it. Interactions happening in the lobby made it seem like the kind of hotel you rent by the hour, if you know what I mean. I complained about the bedding and the smoke and they gave us a different room, which was slightly better, but still disgustingly filthy, especially the bathroom. The drains were full of hair, the walls and towels were stained, and the shower curtain had something growing on it. The room is advertised and sound-proof, but definitely was not. It was unsafe, uncomfortable, and unsanitary.

The first night was terrible, ppl outside were making noise and not respecting ppl trying to sleep, their was a security guard but he should have walked around the perimeter. Second day was better, i got a goodnight sleep. The rooms had outdate tv and their was no microwave No security door lock. I wish their was a parking lot but if i had to return for a nihht and two. this hotel deserves 0 stars. first our room wasn’t even ready then switched to a new room and the conditions were so bad to where they were unlivable. refused to give refund back and wasted 450$ for 2 nights to sleep. ruined my experience for my first time in new york.

Rooms although at first glance look clean , really are not . Fixtures are broken , paint is peeling, tiles are broken ac needs a good cleaning as well as everything covered in dust. No housekeeping during our 3 days there. Beddings look aged and in need of replacing, comforter actually looks like it’s never been washed. Mirrors are dirty, gum stuck on floor and bad smell on of cigarette and cannabis and the list goes on… won’t recommend this to anyone..

Pros: Affordable Great customer service everything you ask for: iron, extra blanket, readily available with the smile. Good AC. Comfortable bed. Cons: old unkempt property, holes in the walls, dirty throughout Smells mouldy and very very run down. Slow WiFi. Blankets with holes (though clean). Terrible pillows. Needs major upgrade.
