They did great attending to us as we arrived early morning and they let us leave our luggage arriving early and also late to not haul around. Room was not cleaned as we stayed 5 nights but I did request items and a bags and a broom and they always were available. Walls are really thin that 2 nights in a row we had someone blasting music that sound like it was in our room directly couldn’t sleep at all but I called front desk to complain and they dealt with it. Smells constantly like weed in the floors and we did non smoking but still strong and steeps into your room. The deli on the corner called griffin was bomb and the family was always so welcoming and helped us out a lot and very attentive when asking questions. Neighborhood is quite just don’t walk around at night in random areas and you will be good.

Ill be honest hotel is not bad at all. Receptionists was very pleasant and friendly. Small room but it has everything you need. Seems like there are no rules within hotel especially during the week. Very loud tvs, people arguing overnight (3 am), yelling and it goes on. A couple nights I had to call reception to send someone to the floor and get it quit down. Also, it would be nice to have smoking rooms all on one floor. The hallway smelled so bad, not only cigarettes but other “stuff” as well. Street parking was not bad. There are always spots open. Hotel parking is small and you have to get there early to get a spot.

The hotel is new and in a busy area of the Bronx, that locals felt was pretty safe. It is conveniently located near a subway stop (10 minutes walking) and as a Baltimore native the area felt reasonably safe to us. The parking lot is small but serviceable and convenient given parking in NYC. Overall cleanly and reasonable but our sheet had a small drop of blood on it. The desk person promptly took care of the issue when it was raised.

Room was clean, sheets and pillow cases were torn at the ends but clean. Limited parking, people arguing over it. Room was non-smoking but had a lingering smell. Room did have windows that open. Parking down the block at $22 for overnight. Community ice machine and microwave in the lobby.

Not a terrible stay for 1 night. Coworker, wife and I came here to see the train garden at nybg. Place says it’s newly built, but rooms looked weathered already. Sketchy area, but everyone we encountered were pretty decent. Definitely got some prostitution ops going on in there. For 90 bucks a night in NYC what would you expect. Not sure how this place has an 8.4, what are you doing hotels.com?
