The apartment was ok nothing to write home about. There were only 3 chair at the dining room table. No bowls or teaspoons in the cupboards, very little dishes. No curtains on the bedroom windows and broken blinds. The neighborhood was a little undesirable. There’s a liquor store on the corner two doors down that was a gathering point for people late into the night.

“Wrong Turn!”

The apartment needs some attention. The appearance on the inside was clean, but the linen was thin and old, the blinds in every room were ripped, the shower liner in the middle bathroom was visibly dirty, as was the bottom of the outer shower curtain. The refrigerator had not been wiped clean from the previous stay. I honestly believe I left the place cleaner than I found it. The neighborhood was not our cup of tea, and coming from a “big city,” it was not hard to label the area as one we would not frequent. The host and his communication was great and he even allowed for early check in which was greatly appreciated! However, “elegant” nor “oasis” should appear in the description of the rental.
