The hotel staff were helpful, friendly and all around excellent. The hotel is small and quaint in a great location. The beds and linen were comfy and clean. The rooms are dated however and in need of renovating: Paint chipping, stained counters etc. The pool area is nice but the water was a tad murky. That said, the people working there is what made our experience lovely.

Clean room great staff amazing location !! But … if you want quiet this is not the place for you .. I’d definitely book this place again but the price reflects the noise till about 2 am .. then quiet .. so if your an early riser this is not for you

There’s no elevator, and no one will help you get your stuff up to your room and i was on the third floor… the AC was not on when i got to my room and it was extremely humid. overall pretty good, but not amazing

This was our 2nd time staying at this property. It’s a wonderful property & we will continue to book this property for the next times we visit Playa Del Carmen. It does sit on top of a nightclub so it can be loud, the wifi can be unstable, & there is no elevator but for the rooms, location, & price it’s definitely worth it.

Me and my girlfriend stayed here for her birthday, It was a great place right on the strip next too all the fun restaurants and shops . We will definitely be back soon . Some reviews say this place isn’t the best but we didn’t mind the noise at night and the room was super cute and clean .

Location and economy

Very well located, right next to the mall that runs through downtiwn Playa del Carmen. Also, very economical for the location and quality of the property. Decorated in an industrial style, was a safe, quiet place to return to at the end of a hectic day

Amazing location

The hotel is pleasant, and humble, spacious & affordable with all the amenities. The pool was the highlight of our trip and of course the AC. It’s centrally located on 5th avenue with a variety of clubs in every corner. There is a club connected to the hotel so if you’re not here to party I suggest you stay somewhere else noise comes from all angles. Theres a club across the street as well. I can say we had an incredible stay the hotel is clean, communication is clear the workers are the sweetest and do everything to make you feel welcome. Definitely a must stay if you come to playa. So many delicious restaurants around and so close to the beach. 10 out of 10

- no elevator. On 4th flr w/luggage - dark and spoky 2nd flr w/ construction - key did not open the door, maid told us to remove the pad batteries and reinstall to reset it.That's when we noticed that they had removed the pad cover to expose the batteries for this purpose -Inside the room the sliding door did not lock -Shower head was broken so the water shot out in a gash like a water fall and trickled at the center. -Water pooled on the side so you would have to walk through the dirty water once you were done showering -Their body wash made the bathroom smell like sewer (we used our own but the smell filled the room with the horrible odor) -no blow dryer -the bed was on a platform which drooped on one side, my wife had to sleep more towards the center forcing me to the other edge -Bed had no cover, no blanket, just 1 sheet - AC was inadequate, and circulation was bad - room was dirty with crums of food - The first night we were so exhausted from the day's activities that we fell asleep, even with the music outside, but the second night which was a Friday the music was turned up to a whole new level.Club was directly under our room and literally did not stop until 3:30am...then all of the people yelling, cleaning glass bottles crashing, and aluminum cans being crushed until 4am.We had to leave. We were told we'd get a credit for the nights we didn't stay along with the parking fee.Then they declined once we were back home. No rest at all. Do not recommend.

The most terrible hotel I have ever been. Dirty, ugly and disgusting. Contractors working all over with tools and construction materials. Room with concrete beds, dirty bedding, walls, bathroom. Indescribable realty. As soon as I get to the room I rented in another place. No elevator. Not recommended to any human being.

Property is under construction and the rooms are small and you can hear other people.. it’s right next to the loudest bar on 5th.. they were drilling at 10-11pm at night and woke up my sons.. they charge 250 pesos to park your car overnight… roof is super low on the second floor also and caused me to hit my head really hard.. TV’s audio was so bad we couldn’t even hear the show.. awful

what i thought was very unique about this property was they had various teas downstairs that were very good then when they would bring new towels they would be animals ! i also thought it was so cool that they had hammocks and chair swings part of some rooms. what i didnt enjoy very much was the bathrooms were not as clean as i wouldve felt comfortable in and sometimes i would find a few bugs but it is mexico. Definitely worth it for your money! i would not suggest a room by the pool because it is open to all the hotel so you may wake up with people swimming outside your window!!
