Book a hotel near Port of San Diego, Downtown San Diego

"We like that the hotel is close to Gaslamp and Little Italy. We walked from the hotel and in a few blocks there were many restaurants to choose from. The room was clean and the staff were nice. "

I showed them my VIP membership and asked for a complementary late checkout and got an extra hour. No mention of other complementary service or drinks, nothing. I had to comeback to ask and that was for drinks.. no mention on room upgrades.. in my previous experience with other hotels they were considerate enough to go through the details and telling us about each and every complementary services that you get as an Orbitz VIP member"

"Front desk staff and the people who were able to support arrival via messaging in the Hilton app were amazing. They treated us with respect and compassion! They are also very accommodating to special needs. The only thing that put a little damper on the stay was “resort fee” that also includes credit to the restaurant and shop…the shop in the hotel shows no prices on anything! So if you try to spend your “store credit” for the day - you have to bring each item to the store clerk to scan to find out the price…Please, put prices on stuff in the store! It was still worth it to stay there for the great location and the care shown by the front desk staff and the cheerful staff serving breakfast. Will stay there again."
