Despite the ongoing renovations of the front desk area and elevators we had a pleasant night stay. The bed was very comfortable. The hot breakfast options was good and the eating area kept very clean. Only complaint was the water for the shower was luke warm at best and very low pressure. Not sure if this was due to the renovations at the time or not. Was strange because there was very hot water and lots of pressure from the bathroom sink taps. Hotel is 10 minute walk to the cruise ship terminal which was great for us.

It has a good location. The breakfast included was just OK. The room is cleaned every other day, so you'll need to ask for new towels and sheets and even more toilet paper if you run out.

Hotel is in a central location for siteseeing and restaurants. The hotel was being renovated and the parking was very tight in the hotel lot. The property manager was unreasonable about what happened on the property yet we received restaurant menus slipped under our hotel room door. Where was the security? How did someone from a local restaurant get access to guest hallways?

I have stayed here before, and the location is nice. Little Italy is walkable and has a variety of places to eat. The harbor and the retired “pirate” ships are across the way. the S.S Midway and seaport village is in close proximity as well. However, not impressed with the hotel at all. This time or the last time I was there. Walls are thin. Last visit I could hear my neighbors getting it on. This visit, my door shut, but not at the top. The room was clean for a hotel room, but still not impressed. Location is what made me book here this second time. Staff was also very nice.

The room was clean and nice comfortable bed. Great amenities like free coffee and bathroom amenities. The main complaint we have is the very slow check in due to a system shutdown on their online and app check in. It really inconvenienced us since we came from a long road trip and it prevented us from a fast check in.

Staff support was lacking. They weren't wearing name tags or uniforms at the feont desk to suggest they even worked there. And when asked for recommendations for a restaurant, they had no helpful suggestions. All night we could hear the public transit trains as they were close by. One of the reasons we booked this hotel was because we were excited about the pool and laundry facility. Both pool and laundry were closed for rennovation. Further parking garage was over crowded with construction worker vehicles. We were blocked in multiple times and our car was hit on the last day by one of the construction vehicles. Room was at least clean.

Sadly we did not have a good stay here which is a shame because I’ve stayed at May Hampton inns over the years and they have all been fine. Our room was located in the very back of the hotel nearest the train tracks (which we didn’t know existed right alongside the hotel). All night long we heard the loud BEEP BEEP BEEP of the crossing arms going up and down. There was a lot of construction being done on the hotel so the hammering just below us started up before 9am. Our room had new carpet which is nice but we were breathing the chemical fumes all night. Due to the construction, water was shut off in our room while my husband was in the bathroom with soapy hands. We actually decided to go home a day early because we didn’t want to stay another night and the hotel would not refund our second night. Beware this is not a good time to visit with the construction going on. And if you cannot sleep through loud noises, this is not the hotel for you.

The room was fine and the staff was helpful and friendly. There are 4 train tracks behind the hotel with trains operating day and night. Hotel needs to sound proof the property. Additionally there was significant renovation happening at the property. I was unaware of this and found the experience very disappointing for a Hampton Inn.
