Near The Pearl - Quick Access to Riverwalk, Alamo, Ft Sam Houston, and Downtown
{Due to medical reasons, I can only accept non-smokers/non vapors-meaning non-smoking/vaping inside and/or out and no tobacco chewers-please honor this necessity-thank you} Lovely furnished one bedroom apartment (located on 2nd floor) with stove, refrigerator, microwave and TV for your entertainment while you stay in Alamo City. It is conveniently located just off the access road to IH-35 North near The Pearl and downtown San Antonio. One can easily walk to Broadway Street for shopping, eating at a nice restaurant, or finding entertainment in The Pearl complex. Plus, the city bus is conveniently located back on Carson Street (2 blocks) to take you downtown to our famous River Walk and the Alamo. 6blocks from Ft Sam Houston's gate on New Braunfels Ave.
Cute small older apartment, not good for plus size couple or people climbing stairs. Not as close to downtown as we had hoped. Hostess was fast to respond to questions.
Host communicated well with check in and out. Lots of stairs as rental was on the top floor. Neighbor had a loose pit bull that we had to keep and eye out as we were coming back late at night. Close to downtown that was perfect and close to Lackland AFB. Traffic was kinda of loud. Over all a nice place to lay your head for the night :)
Nice place to stay with personality and great area. Thoughtful host. Comfy bed. Couldn't ask for more. :) We are in San Antonio so the buildings are a bit older here
The area felt a little unsafe. The apt overall was pretty clean, but there were many mouse traps throughout and behind doors. I woke up at night hearing scratching inside the walls.
Thatâs cute, little how ar property was our last stay in our visit to San Antonio and, after a really stressful trip, it was a beautiful, quiet, clean, colorful, restful place to rest and recharge before our flight home. It was just what we needed!
Prefect location to the Pearl, Downtown SA, foodies, museums, and others near by. Area was decent (little bit sketchy by looks around neighborhood but completely safe) and staying in was super comfortable and homely. Best place to stay in. Had all things we needed upon arrival. Will visit again near future. Thank you so much for the comfort you provided during our stay. Amazing!
Apartment was very small but we prefer that! Parking was a little rough as it's on the side of the expressway. I think there was a driveway but it was being worked on while we were there. The apartment itself was clean and felt safe. Normally I wouldn't stay right off the highway but both the front door to the building and the apartment door had deadbolts so we felt secure.
The property was super close to everything cool including the riverwalk, the Alamo, and velvet taco. There were a bunch of stocked amenities, enough space for two people, a kitchen where we made chicken nuggets and a small dining area with flowers, and coffee, water, and tea free of charge. The bed was comfy too but I sleep with a lot of blankets so I shouldâve brought more. Overall awesome place and easy to communicate with the owner. Would go again
It was the perfect spot for what we needed. Close to many attractions and the downtown area. The nearby restaurant Ridge on the Hill has very good food and gas station near by.
3 day Stay for Deftones concert and a visit to the Arts Museum
The location was perfect for any event at the Frost bank center or downtown area. I was a little scared being that I stayed alone. But I felt very safe in my room. The bed was comfy, enough room to feel relaxed. I would stay here again.
The property itself was fine. Nothing over the top with amenities. Just the basics to accommodate my stay. the neighborhood is not great but that's not the fault of the property owner. I would stay there again.
I stayed here for two nights. The place is very clean and quiet. Be careful of the stairs though. The check in instruction could be a little more brief and direct. The area seems abandoned and right by the highway, making it very scary at night.
This please looked really nice in the pictures. The pictures were kind of accurate it was just a little disturbing seeing roach and mice traps and then also staying where someone else lives is a little weird.
