Very basic hotel. Cleanliness could have been much better. Toilet had urine stains around the front base. Kitchen had 1 glass completely STUCK to the shelf and 2 water bottle caps visible in the garbage disposal. Bed was comfortable and it was a decent place to sleep. It served our purpose.

Nice. But room service didn’t service us. Didn’t bring new clean towels the next day. Only half a roll of toilet paper in the room. Had to go get some from front office. Other than that it was okay. Clean.

So I will start with the bad and finish on the positive. The bad I had some stains on my white comforter on the first night, my room smelled smoky even though they don't allow smoking in the hotel rooms, my coffee mugs still had coffee stains in it and some of the kitchen appliances didn't look too clean, and to top it all off I saw 2 roaches in my room. Now personally I don't do insects period. Especially roaches. Now in all fairness I never complained to the staff so maybe they would've tried to make up for any of it but I didn't want to complain I just tried to fix things on my own. Now the good. The staff is soooo nice and accommodating and when I asked for new sheets and towels my first day they immediately provided them no problem. The price wasn't bad for the room. They try very hard to keep the common areas very clean I always saw someone cleaning. The room is very spacious and does have a lot of things you would need. It was also pretty quiet. I also like that the laundry was free. And the location seems good. I'm not too familiar with the area but it seemed like it was pretty close to everything. Only 15 -20 minutes to downtown. So there's lots of positives and some negatives about this place. Hopefully that helps someone else make a decision on moving in.

Mixed Feelings

We thought the suite itself was nice and clean and quite spacious. Bed was great and the shower was good. Staff was very friendly and nice. Outside the suite, however, it was a different story. The carpet in the stairs was filthy, the elevator did not smell good, and there were unsavory characters hanging outside at all hours of the day and night. We felt fairly unsafe.

The structure is getting old. You can feel the sway of the building. They had no extra pillows now sheets available. Towels had hair balls from other people stuck in them. There was trash and hair on the bath floor from the last guest

My wife and I decided to stay here for the night. As soon as we walked in the room and turned on the light we saw roaches. More were under sink as well. Not what you expect when you pay for a hotel room. Also hotel staff came to wake us at 11:00am to tell us check out was at 11:00am when it clearly says 12:00pm on their door. I called office right away and they said they would let us stay until 12:00pm. They need to get that cleared up! But more important is that they get rid of the roaches because nobody wants to see that when they get in the room. I would not recommend this hotel and will definitely not stay here again.
Photo of bottom of sink, roaches are in back corner. See close up on other picture.
Check out time says 12:00pm, not 11:00am.

Cheap remodel? Hotel smelled

The check in was very quick. The hotel however had a very odd odor to it and it was worse in my room. The lobby could have been swept and mopped, there were shoe stains and broken chips scattered. The elevator (only one responded during our stay so not sure if both of them were on) had broken chips and finger smudges scattered about the first evening. Our room was on the third floor and the floor upon exiting the elevator creaked and popped when we walked over and this was the case all the way down the hallway. You could tell the floor was very uneven. The walls were thin, I could hear our neighbors and the guests above us had similar issues with the floor. Sounded like they might fall through it. This hotel seemed like it weren’t through a very quick and cheap remodel and it severely shows. The odor was a wet carpet/smoker/pet combination smell. We did not enjoy our stay and wouldn’t not recommend to anyone.
