This property online says it has a lot of amenities that it does not have. The room was dirty, hair on the floor and a filthy rug. We were there 3 days and the same clump of hair stayed on the bathroom floor and the rug had dirt that was never vacuumed. We left it there to see if it would be cleaned. The entire hotel is old but it’s in disrepair. The pool is dirty and just an unacceptable stay for the amount of money you pay to stay . The staff was not very nice and did not take well to our complaints. Just a bad stay. I would not recommend at all.

The young lady who checked us in was fantastic. Our day of traveling was horrible, and we arrived late, (Just before 11 pm) We weren't in the greatest place mentally but she made us rest easy with check in, info and her smile. The room was great, bed was very comfortable. We wanted for nothing, it was all there. Although our stay was quite brief, we would certainly stay her again!

Anniversary stay

The Kendall is amazing and the staff went above and beyond for our anniversary trip there. Shannon was very prompt at calling me back to setup the little surprise for my husband I had. My only complaint is that the last night there our neighbors were extremely loud until almost midnight so my ride home I was very grumpy due to lack of sleep. Other than that highly recommended!

I already want to go back

The room was stunning. I’m a sucker for turn of the eighteenth century remodels and this fit the bill. It’s so vintage but updated with a modern feel. It’s all so classy and has a stamp of Texas everywhere you look. The bed was comfortable, the room was tastefully decorated, the shower was massive, and the on-site restaurant was amazing. My husband and I went to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary and it was fabulous. Peggy’s on the Green is a Zagat rated restaurant and for a foodie like me that was a plus. The drinks are excellent, the steak wonderful. I would most definitely go again.
