This place was awful!! The photos are not from this location. We checked in, and told we are in a nice room..We walked outside to find the room (theres no inside access). Found room down a cement deadend hall. We stepped inside and immediately the smell was horrible!! Our eyes started burning & watering, then the nose started to burn. The view was a brick/mortar wall & weeds. We had to get out of the room after a few minutes to be able to breath. My card had already been charged but we had to go somewhere else and now im playing the game of trying to get a refund. NOT A GOOD PLACE!!!! Beware!

I arrived several hours early and the staff was kind enough to allow me to check in early which I really appreciated because I was exhausted from a long range fishing trip. As usual the room was exceptionally clean. No issues. A big plus for me is that there is always good coffee in the lobby. They use an insulated dispenser so the coffee always tastes great. They also offer a very nice breakfast with a wide variety of items. The Comfort Inn is my new go to hotel whenever I am in Point Loma, which is several times per year.

Run down getto motel. Room had a strong disinfectant smell. I was trying a get some quick sleep but the housekeeping staffs shouting outside made it impossible. Ledt the place more tired than came in. Stayaway!

Parking lot was full and extremely tight. Rooms are small. No real ventilation; other than propping the bathroom window open. There was an AC. But no actual circulation so it made the room stuffy. Definitely on the older side. It was clean otherwise. King matttess felt like a sofa bed mattress (thin) with a mattress pad on top. I would definitely check other options next time.
