Great value in general but in 2025, having no hair blower in a room is just ridiculous. Invest in a couple of hair blowers to just be up to basic standards
Room with 2 beds but honestly can only contain 1 bed
No space was terrible the smallest room i ever seen
Air conditioning wasnt functional so it was hot
I booked this room because it was close to the airport as my kids were arriving late and were taking an Uber to the motel. When I arrived, the checkin was friendly, I got the bottom floor that I wanted, the room smelled clean and was clean PLUS it had a microwave, refrigerator, shampoo, lotion, and soap! Not many Motel 6's are this diligent on customer satisfaction. Bonus... food delivery and coffee in the morning! Truly satisfied. Will be staying again soon!
The staff were particularly unfriendly. We arrived early so we couldn't check in. That is OK, but there was NO option for leaving bags in a safe space and even staying within the property was considered "loitering", so they would call the police. This was mentioned in a very unfriendly manner. They claimed that this was an order from the manager.

Stayed here with my spouse, 3 year old and 2 little mini pops. We were attending the UCSB graduation so it was a convenient distance to the school. It was also close driving distance to a good amount of food places and Tesla super chargers. We appreciated that it was dog friendly as poop bags and a decent size grass patch made it easy to take them out for potty. Check in was pretty quick. We got there around 11pm or so. The room was tiny and quite outdated. After getting ready for bed, I inspected the sheets, as I always do before getting into it at hotels. There was small and large strands of hair throughout both beds. Iâm not one to argue, so I just walked down and told the man at the front desk who gave me fresh sets that we put on ourselves. The cleanliness was alright. Fingerprints on different surfaces including the headboards. The soaps are very small and drying, def bring your own toiletries. We liked the air conditioner in the room as it did cool the room pretty quickly. The nightly rate was quite high. Our first night was around $160 and the weekend price was $400/night. Around $1,150 for 3 nights. Overall, it wasnât worth the money spent. First and last time I will be staying at a motel 6. If the price is right, itâs ok for an overnight stay.
Actually this place was quite refreshing after a really not so great stay at another motel 6. This place was clean, quiet and really nice. I really enjoyed my stay here, only one night but the receptionist was quite friendly. I'd come back here, no problem. Great place to stay
Motel 6 Goleta, CA-Santa Barbara is our "go-to" motel when we visit and pick up our daughter from UCSB every year. The rates are reasonable and our room is always clean. We love the room set-up, very cozy. Beds and pillows are so comfortable! Office staff are always friendly and accommodating.
Our stay here was mostly great considering the price. The property backs up to the freeway, so light sleepers should beware, and ask for a room toward the front of the motel if available.
The area was nice, plenty of walking distance things to do. The staff, more directly an older man that worked night shift during our stay was horrible. My sister in law and I planed a quick overnight trip with our kids & stayed in separate rooms. Our key cards were faulty all day. Later that night, she goes outside to lock her car when her room door closes behind her. She goes to open it and the key wonât work. Sheâs knocking hoping one of the kids wakes up to open but they donât. She goes to request a new key, doesnât work. Continues knocking, kids still sleeping. Requests a new key and is told she will be charged for a new one. Then she starts banging on the door hoping to get the kids to wake up. Mind you they are 1 & 7 and just spent 4hrs in the car and a full day of zoo, beach and pool activities. I go down to request a key for her and get met with all my booking info saying he sees we have the same area code and live in the same city and we were partying all night and accused of leaving all kids in one room while adults are in the other room, which was a made up scenario in his head, and then threatening me to be put on a no book list. Anyway, people started complaining of her banging on the door and was kicked out around 1:30/2am and had a 4hr drive back home.
