There's a restaurant on site. You can enjoy a drink at the bar/lounge. WiFi and wired Internet are available in public spaces for a fee. A health club, gift shops/newsstands, and concierge services are also featured at Silver Cloud Hotel - Seattle Broadway.
My husband and I stayed for two nights. Rooms were very clean. Staff was very professional. Hotel in good location. Parking was safe and secure. The only thing is the noise outside hotel in the morning. Which can't be helped by hotel. I would return and maybe ask too stay on the other side of hotel.
We wanted to get away for a night and have a nice dinner and relax. It was raining on a cold Feb night and we didn't feel like walking around. The restaurant was nice and attached to the hotel, room service was an option which we liked but we ended up going into the lounge. It was comfortable, the service was great and I had a wonderful fresh Dungeness crab and shrimp louie salad. I would definitely go back, great location and they have their own parking garage- had to pay 20.00 extra but it is Seattle so we expected to have some issue with parking. Aveda products a plus. Very soft mattress on bed, we are used to a little firmer. Nice pillows, sheets, comforters, etc.
Definitely not "downtown" although classed by Expedia as downtown...television could have been HD for the price, also bathrobes would have been a convenience. Otherwise, clean, quiet and reasonably comfortable. Would shop for my own hotel in future, not trust Expedia "mystery" hotel, not finding out what it was until paid for and no cancelling privileges, even though area was not the area we wanted. Definitely more 3 star than 3.5 star
When I booked this hotel I was concerned that it was a short drive from the main attractions of the city. However this turned out to be an advantage, and Silver Cloud became our "home" in Seattle for a few days...a place to come back to to revitalize and relax before another day of exploring this wonderful city.
The shuttle bus was prompt and the drivers were amazingly helpful, with anecdotes and helpful recommendations. (Ask about the elevator to get you back from the waterfront to Pike St Markets. It's a lifesaver when you are tired and heading "home") They take fantastic care of the people who are using the hotel to spend time with loved ones in hospital, also, dropping them off at the hospital with concern and good wishes.
The hotel amenities are very well thought out, with a free laundry very welcome when you have been travelling for a while. Strong complimentary internet access was also most welcome, as was our comfortable room.
Last, but not least, the restaurant Jimmy's, with it's twice daily happy hour deals, excellent food and friendly helpful service. We didn't both looking for anywhere else to eat or drink in the evenings as we were so happy with Jimmy's.
Good hotel. No breakfast. Clean rooms and nice staff. Good location. Pike Market within 20 walking minutes. Grocery store nearby. Many restaurants in the area. There is a college two blocks up the street.
Selected Silver Cloud Hotel Broadway as part of the Expedia Unpublished Rates program. Wasn't expecting the hotel to be such a great find. Boy was I surprised. Staff was extremely helpful, free local shuttle saved us on parking & hassle in city, Jimmy's Restaurant was excellent (try the Lemon Chicken), and room was quiet & clean. I highly recommend this local hotel chain and will stay there again.
Clean, quiet, easy & close access to Swedish Hospital. Only bad thing, the room coffee was very weak and no coffee shop in hotel. But Starbucks is close.
The Silver Cloud Hotel is a great overnight stay for me. Since I was staying over due to a birthday party, it was conveniently located near my friend's place and to Capitol Hill. The Staff was nice, and the room was clean. There was a small struggle with the water faucet, but nothing to complain about. Would definitely stay here again.
Extremely friendly and helpful staff. Free shuttle downtown very handy. Highly recommend. Have stayed here twice now and will stay again when in Seattle.
It was a pleasant one week stay here. I took advantage of the frequent shuttle service to and from the convention center and to the market. Great restaurants around the 12th Ave area. Nice pool -- only issue is no changing room (only bathroom) and shower near the pool and you have to walk through the parking lot. Gym, though small, was useful for me. Overall it was a great bargain.
We were in Seattle for a convention and it was great to have the daily shuttle that we could take to the convention center as well as a few other downtown locations.
The only downside was the occasional ambulance noise because there are medical facilities int he neighborhood.
