I made a reservation at this location to celebrate my husband’s birthday. I was aware there was a nightclub and that the resort was open to the public.
When we checked in, they assigned us room 301. The front desk gave no directions on where the room was located. We took the elevator to the 3rd floor, but after room 302, the numbers jumped to 300 — room 301 simply didn’t exist. We called security for help, and even he couldn’t find it at first. After over 45 minutes of searching, he finally led us to a hidden, tiny staircase that went to a second floor under construction — surrounded by administrative offices and employee break rooms. There, tucked away, was “room 301.”
I was shocked. No guest should be placed there — it was isolated, hidden, and honestly not even suitable for animals, let alone paying customers. To make matters worse, my husband is handicapped and could not possibly stay in such an inaccessible, unsafe, and desolate location. I felt completely uncomfortable, disrespected, and discriminated against.
I returned to the front desk to complain, and they moved us to another room on the 5th floor — again without telling us where it was. After another 20 minutes of wandering, we found it… only to discover our “view” was the roof of a gas station, with loud motorcycles and people coming and going all night.
I called again to request another change, but the front desk refused. We had no choice but to check out and find another hotel in the area.
