Amazing location and overall a good hotel. The suites were nice but on our first night, we grabbed one of the drinking glasses only to find that all of them have lipstick on them. It didn’t feel like our room was properly cleaned before check in.

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful and historic hotel. Our room was incredibly spacious and beautifully designed, offering all the comforts of home and more. It included a convenient kitchenette, comfortable living quarters, and even a washer and dryer, which made our stay especially easy and enjoyable. One of the highlights was the stunning view from our room—it overlooked both the city and the lake, providing a perfect backdrop throughout our stay. The location was ideal, with plenty of great restaurants just a short walk away, making it easy to explore the local dining scene. One King is in a great location. We stayed here for one night to attend an event at the Meridian Hall. We walked to dinner and to the Meridian Hall with ease. Check in was a breeze and staff were pleasant. No upgrade or VIP benefits were mentioned though. The wait for the elevators was long as it's a high building. Our room was ok and we appreciated the bar in the lobby.

For a downtown area, finding parking with a truck within walking distance was great, I have a disability where walking can sometimes be difficult. All valet staff were very helpful and extremely polite and welcoming. We will stay here again
