I was celebrating my 40th Birthday nearby and needed a convenient walkable place to stay. I stayed at this hotel years ago when it was under a different banner…and Holiday Inn really gave the property an upgrade. Went to check in and was told I was upgraded to a suite. (Happy Birthday to me!) Room was comfortable and quiet. The area is walkable with ample access to public transportation and whatever else you may need. Upon checkout, I noticed that they had accidentally overcharged me. The representative at the Front Desk was friendly, courteous, and fixed the issue right away. Would highly recommend this hotel.

The room was clean initially, but when room service came to clean the room, they made both beds with dirty sheets. Stains all throughout. I was having a great stay until that moment and now I’m probably never coming back.

The staff , especially the front desk person , Maria were exceptional. Excellent service and care. She really made this hotel memorable with her kindness, and accommodation. The hotel room was a bit on the small side, and dated. The hotel needs a refresh but the location and amenities around it make it a great place to stay when visiting Toronto.

I was charged $80 for parking, which according to the Expedia reservation was to be free. When I informed the front desk the agent agreed that the parking was free.As yet the charge has not been reversed.

Excellent downtown value

Great central location. Good amenities, and the cable, WiFi and shower actually worked. These formerly dependable services are not as dependable as they once were in chain hotels, so the consistent water pressure was appreciated! The parking is easy to access as well. Will stay again.

Our check in was very welcoming. The room is small but we soon got used to it. Beds are comfy enough. Pillows are comfortable. My only complaint would be the street noise but that’s not the hotel’s fault. It’s a great location for restaurants, subway access, shopping. We would definitely stay here again next time we visit Toronto.
