The only reason I booked this specific overpriced older hotel was because it has a water slide and I have 3 kids. We arrived at 9:30pm, and the sign says that the pool opens at 6am and the waterslide is open from 5-9pm only. So after three weeks of telling my kids we are going to the hotel with the waterslide, I have to tell them at check-in that they won’t be allowed to use the waterslide, although there was no mention of that when I booked the hotel. Also, $12 for parking (just put it in the listing, I was not in the mood to hear that we had just lost the water slide and it was going to cost more). To make it worse, I go online and realize that if I had booked that morning instead of three weeks ago, it would have been cheaper. However, when I looked at the hotel three weeks ago on Travelocity, it said there were only five rooms left. Same thing this morning. Gee, still just 5 rooms left. What a conincidence. Thanks Travelocity for your commitment to honesty. I’m never using Travelocity or staying here again. There are newer nicer hotels in abundance in this area, and a better deal.

Elevators.....UGH

Okay- first- great pool, great water slides for kiddos. They had a blast. The restaurant was okay, overpriced, but decent meal. Now my complaints- the elevators! Oh my god, I was so mad waiting for these things.....FOR THIRTY MINUTES. Only 2 of the 3 were working, which is my first complaint. Second, they are pretty small, so not many can get on there, and there are like 14 floors of guests, so they need to be bigger. I had a double stroller with me, and I waited for 30 minutes to get on the elevator. Every time it came (on average about once every FOUR minutes) it was too full for me to fit with my double stroller. my kids were cranky, I could not believe it took that long for me to get down 3 friggin floors. I was beyond mad. NEXT- we went to the zoo. We left at 8am and were back at 4....the room still hadn't been cleaned. The maid came about 4:30, but in my opinion that is unacceptable. There is no reason it should be cleaned after check in time for the hotel. Needless to say, my son was napping, and I had to refuse cleaning services, so my room was not cleaned for my entire stay. (Friday, Saturday, Sunday) I would expect better for the price I paid for this hotel.

Great family hotel

I really liked our large corner room. The bed was super comfy and a large tv with lots of channel choices. The room was definitely dated and the bathroom shower ceiling a bit gross. Outside Windows were filthy and really took away from the lovely view. Elevator was slow and hot, no ventilation whatsoever. Pool was nice and enjoyed by many. Staff was super friendly.

Perfect for families

Pros: Great facilities and helpful staff
My 15-year-old nephew and I stayed at the Delta Toronto East while visiting the area. The hotel is out of the hustle and bustle of the downtown city, but it was easy to drive to the places we wanted to visit. My nephew really enjoyed the pool and hot tub. The price was very reasonable considering the facilities. The only thing that would have made the stay better would have been less traffic on the nearby highways!

Major dust bunnies

Pros: The hotel is hosts a conference we attend so location is perfect.
Cons: Cleaning and buffet
We have stayed at this hotel multiple times, every time it gets a little more dirty. The cleaning staff must forget to vacuum behind the doors, or in the closet. the pool was so cloudy you could not see the bottom. We came down for breakfast and were told the buffet was not available, now we understand needing to switch over to the lunch buffet but it was 10:50 and lots of people were still eating, even our server in the other dinning room disagreed with the dining staff and argued with their staff. We just wanted breakfast so for 3 people it came to $80 not a cheap alternative, for french toast, pancakes, and eggs and home-fries, with orange juice and tea.

Very expensive for anything.

Pros: Quiet
Cons: Nothing close, No free Internet
Hotel was just OK, and it was a bit outside toronto so cab fares were costly. The food and drink was VERY expensive!
