The property itself was small but charming, the rooms/suites were large and the backyard was spacious as well with a private pool (a bit chilly as there is not much sun in the back). The room rates were very reasonable for what we got. That being said there was no housekeeping (we stayed for 5 days) and it got quite sandy and messy as there was no broom for us to use. We also did not get any spare towels and so we had to do our own laundry (one out of 2 washers worked, no dryer) and it was quite difficult to get the towels/our clothes dry as we did t want to leave them out by the main pool and everything else was shaded. The area is mostly new and under construction, expect unpaved roads. You will need transportation to get around if you want to go to the beach/downtown— there is a restaurant with a pool table and rooftop swimming pool right across the street which is nice (the food is mediocre). All in all a bang for the buck but will be staying closer to the beach in the future. Thank you for your hospitality!

My recent stay at Moots Hotel in Tulum was nothing short of disappointing. Despite its enticing online appearance, the reality fell far short of expectations. The hot tub, touted as a relaxing amenity, was disappointingly filthy, leaving much to be desired in terms of cleanliness and maintenance. Adding to the dismay, the electricity outage lasting for hours cast a shadow over the entire experience, leaving guests inconvenienced and frustrated. However, what truly marred the stay was the abysmal management. Their lack of attentiveness and inability to address issues effectively only compounded the dissatisfaction. In light of these shortcomings, I made the difficult decision to cut my stay short and seek accommodation elsewhere. Despite my love for Tulum, I cannot in good conscience recommend Moots Hotel to fellow travelers. It's a regrettable blight on an otherwise enchanting destination.

Very hard to communicate in English with them The instructions are not very clear for the check in. Everything is via Whatsapp . We ask if we could check one hour early and the answer was no. If ask if we could leave out food in the fridge they said no until 3 pm Over all the place is not bad to sleep and go out and make activities . They don’t have rules of no music or parties past 10 pm. So you will get loud music over night . The area is safe but very rural. If you are stying there rent a car but not from enterprise as they try to up charge you with a confusing argument of exchange rates difference .

Remove this place from Hotels.com!!!!

A hotel that should be removed from hotels.com website!!!! The reception doesn't speak much english. No communication on cleaning schedule, there were no clean bathroom towels available and had to wait another day for them to come back from laundry. The sliding doors are falling apart, we were worried that the glass was going to fall out. The noise in the evening was not managed after several complaints to security. People were using the hot tub at 3/4am and partying. The noise was so bad that we checked out 3 days early to go elsewhere. When we asked for a refund from the hotel they denied any noise complaints. Absolutely no care from the management for people's stay......The area surrounding the hotel is littered with garbage (beyond belief) and pothole filled roads that could swallow an entire car. DO NOT STAY HERE!!! they don't care about the quality of your stay....

El lugar es tal cual se ve en las fotos. Muy lindo y bien equipado. Esta relativamente lejos de casi todo. Se necesita si o si medio de transporte (moto /auto) . Le falta accesorios para la limpieza diaria como una escoba. La solicite varias veces pero no la llevaron. La comunicacion es regular.
