Nice location, older hotel

Great location. Part of the floor creaked a lot when we walked. I'm sure the people below us could hear, as we could hear the people above us walking. The room lighting was also a bit strange with just two bedside lights, and no overhead light. The staff was friendly and helpful with our many questions. The place was clean and safe.

The RHO is just fine if you’re looking for something in a convenient location. However, the rooms are dated, and the carpets in the room are super dirty. My white socks were brown after walking around in our room. We had to move from our first room to another because it reeked of weed. Next time, I’d look for a nicer hotel further away from the city centre.

If you are looking for something centrally located and easy this is it. It’s not sexy, stylish or cool. It’s a decent place to lay your head. I thought it was expensive but all AMS hotels are.

The property was really well positioned for a tourist in the city! Just off of major streets but quiet. Hotel is quite dated but everything was clean and comfortable. For a single person traveling alone - it was great! My only complaints were no ice and only feather/featherlike pillows. None that were more supportive. Overall though, would definitely stay again. I loved the hotel’s character!

Staff in the front office needs to be more friendly instead of aggressive. When I checked in an older gentleman was very angry about something and just because I asked him I checked in online he was not being polite so I went out to bring my wife and some lady helped me.

Nice Amsterdam stop over!

The location was walkable from the Central Train Station. There are a lot of restaurants close by however we were directed to the area of town where the locals eat which was also excellent. The hotel rooms were not fancy and the carpet could use some updating however the room was clean, the front desk service very friendly and spoke English, which helped me a lot, and the bed was very comfortable.

The hotel is right in the middle of the city so its close to restaurants, shopping, museums and attractions. The staff was very friendly! I didn't like how dark our room was—barely any lighting. We asked for toilet paper in our room but no one came, nor did they clean our room the first day.
