Winter Beach Vaca

Great pet friendly property that was adorable. It was a short walk to the beach and short drive over to AC. We even used the bus that stops right out front a few times. Will definitely book again.

Fun September Get Away

This is a cute rental, the only complaint would be the air conditioning, there is no central air. There is an a/c in only one of the upstairs bedrooms and in order for the other one to be cooled all of the doors need to be left open

Brigantine

Communication with Shannon was good. Location is great. Short walk to the beach. Everything in Brigantine is about a 5 minute drive at most. Good size for two adults and two younger kids. Property was not cleaned when we arrived. Checkout sheet from prior guests with notes of some issues was still on the counter. With a stand alone cleaning fee, it was disappointing that we had to clean the kitchen counters, kitchen table, bathrooms and floor throughout. It did not appear that any cleaner had come between our stay and the last one.

Great Space!

This was a great location. Quick walk to the beach and quiet neighborhood. Convenient to walk to get coffee or ice cream. Quick drive over to Atlantic City for the nightlife. The unit was spacious and had a night layout with the living, dining, and kitchen with a bathroom on first floor and two beds upstairs with full bath on second floor. The AC is two wall units but they both worked pleasantly well and I was surprised that I actually got chilly one night. Thank you!

Loved our stay!

We have been going to Brigantine for years and had passed by this for house many years; it was nice finally rent it. The owners were very responsive. The house is very clean, adorable and user friendly. We loved our stay there and look forward to returning next year!! Oh and we happened to be there during a food truck festival on the beach; that was awesome! Thanks Shannon and Jim for everything!

Great location, good communication with the owner

Owner was very responsive to all my inquiries. Overall the property was decently clean except for the floors. They were less than expected and the carpets were not adequately vacuumed. Lots of pet hair in the carpets. And overall property had faint odor of dog/ animal. Using Febreeze periodically sort of took care of that issue. Also noted many light bulbs were missing or out. Again, extremely responsive owner but this did not benefit us for our stay since they wouldn't be changed until we vacated. I do think these issues are the fault of their hired cleaning crew and no fault of the owners themselves. A buyer beware issue- absolutely no fault but MY OWN - was the air conditioning situation. The description clearly states there are 2 units, one upstairs and one downstairs. However in my head I translated that to zoned units not individual wall units. The one upstairs was really loud. Plus the front bedroom received no cooling. We were able to make this bearable by bringing fans to cool that room for sleeping at night. Without the fans it would have been very uncomfortable. Again this is my personal mistake, but I feel it's noteworthy to mention for future renters to not make the same mistake I did. Location was FANTASTIC, literally one block to the beach entrance and parking was plentiful. We were able to walk everywhere when needing to pick up a few items or eat out.

Perfect!!

ENTIRELY REFRESHING& CONVENIENT!!

We truly had a wonderful and refreshing week staying here. The condo was absolutely perfect for the three of us and our girlie , Our Dog. We LOVED IT! The location is PERFECT, just a block from the Beautiful Brigantine Beach. Close to the shops and our FAVORITE Aunt B'S Ice Cream.... Easy access to the front door with parking. The place was super clean and comfortable. And everything we needed was there. I wanted to stay longer and in fact tried to extend our trip. Unfortunately, but not surprisingly, they were booked already for the next several weeks. I'm not shocked at all. We ALL really enjoyed our week at their home and can only hope to be able to stay there again. THANK YOU SO MUCH! 💯

Very nice location and comfortable but very dirty

The apartment is a very nice size, it’s nicely decorated, the location is great and the fact that it has 2 parking spaces is a plus. BUT, the apartment was very dirty!! We spent the first 2 hours of our stay cleaning just so we’d feel comfortable enough being inside. The rugs were full of pet hair and dirt, the sofa was full of lint, pet hair and food crumbs, and the dinning table was covered in food crumbs. Also, there was hair all over the beds and the master bedroom doesn’t have AC. And worse of all! There was dog poop on the master bedroom floor!!! We understand that it is a pet friendly property but a simple vacuum would take care of most of the cleanliness issues. The apartment was not cleaned before we checked-in (hopefully the people that stayed before us were not charged a cleaning fee). So, after cleaning for 2 hours and picking-up cold, dried dog poop from the bedroom floor, we got to enjoy the beach for 2 days.

Place was comfortable, near beach, and had what was advertised. Not much of a front porch and the grill was so disgusting we did not use it. You would think a clean grill would be expected as part of the cleaning fee. Dropping off trash at dump is also an inconvenience. To me, for the price it wasn't worth it.

Relaxing getaway

This place was just the right size for me, my husband, two teenage girls and small dog. It is clean and well equipped, on a quiet street and within a short walk to the beach or shopping. Our hosts kept us informed and responded quickly to our questions. Would stay here again.
