The classic style and decor of this hotel is beautiful! Staff was friendly. Room amenities adequate. If you're expecting a new shiny hotel you may want to stay somewhere else. Looking for art deco charm, convenient location at a reasonable price for a shore property, I think the Claridge is a great option.

Location was convenient to the boardwalk. No over head or vanity lights in the bathroom and bedroom!' Extremely dim lighting!!! My remote control had electrical tape to hold tge batteries! My refrigerator was caked with freezer ice! It needed defrosted! I did swap it out for a different refrigerator. Female valet was rude (Lorren)!

Whatever wasn't missing out of the hotel room, was broken. The hotel was built in 1930, and I'm pretty sure there's not been any renovations since. Staff waseither rude or didn't speak any English.

I was disappointed in the bathroom. The area above our shower was peeling. There was no microwave in the room. The coffee maker's picture only directions were difficult to understand. The hutch that the tv was on was very unstable. Every time I went into the small fridge, it leaned forward and the tv looked like it was going to fall on my head. The vending machines didn't take cash nor coins.

All was good except house keeping entering room without announcing them self 8/24/25 at 10am someone tried to access my room put the card in and pushed the door open latch was on. I said who no one answered I looke three peep while they just walk away without saying anything.

I would not recommended this hotel rooms have bad smell bathroom was not finish painting . The faucet to take a shower is so wrong installed , when I was going to open the faucet to take a shower all my clothes got wet it’s hard to open . Terrible I stayed 8 years ago and everything was nice . We didn’t have any body can bring all the bags and stuff we have 2 stroller with babies and no help at all . I will not recommend this hotel to Jo body
