"Nice rooms, very clean. Pretty decent breakfast, actually had hot food. Pool was cold, I would have used it more if it was warmer. Very nice and accommodating staff. They only had streaming on the 1st two floors and they moved me into one of those rooms per my request. "

"Delicious breakfast with healthy choice options. Fresh and well prepared. The attendent, James, was exceptional, pouring coffee for customers and actually serving them at their tables and asking if he could get them anything extra. He's very observant, and when the coffee table was crowded, I left to get coffee later. He observed this, and came and poured me coffee personally. I mentioned that this person deserves a raise, and would do well with a promotion. I had dined at The Keg the evening before, and the service was inferior to this Best Western's staff."

"Nice and clean room! Seems recently renovated. Big disappointment was that breakfast didn’t open until 8AM. And there was no coffee maker in my room, so I had to seek my morning caffeine elsewhere which was pritty annoying. Great friendly staff "

"Stairs were noted in home descriptions. It was a little bit of a challenge for our traveling Senior & getting luggage to second floor door entry. The steps were not cleaned for us. We had to sweep debris off of all steps as to not trip on branches or track in mud just to enter home. Also, the outside lights on roped stairway stopped working after the 1st night. We had to use flashlights to navigate stairs safely.Both vacuum cleaners not working. No suction. We tried to vacuum after bringing down luggage on dirty stairs.No hot water in 2 of the showers. On 5th floor and main shower on floor 2.No shoe rule in house but our bare feet were getting stabbed by the carpet nails exposed on the steps floor 3 & on different areas of carpet. Note: No TV's. (We missed that when we booked).Quirky home with fun unique features but overall can use some TLC and upgraded accommodations. Some of the rooms were cold, low overhead ceilings and tight narrow indoor stairs.Improvements can be made to outdoor details as well. We had to sweep decks & chairs to use. And pathway to the water is overgrown.Nice that binoculars were provided to see the amazing view of the water. Games provided. Food condiments were available in the frig. The Piano in the sitting room was a fun featureNote it is a narrow 1-Ln rd with blind corners & steep hillsides. Drivers must be able to reverse & back up into a pullout to allow for oncoming traffic to pass. Parking spots, not an easy turn around. "
