Rooms way too small to accommodate for my family. Check in on the 4th floor makes it difficult for people with lots of luggage with no staff to assist on main level. Confusing when you’ve never stayed here. Location is on a busy intersection making it hard for parking in the area.

The property of the hotel was very much nice , art work was uniquely designed ! Very tea as the new generation would say ! The distant of everything being close to the river, Michigan Ave and very good restaurants . I believe this will be our new Chicago hotel every time we stay !

I read many reviews across business and casual travelers and I don't consider myself bourgeois- which is why I selected price over brand and quality but I'll probably never stay here again. Ok so pro's and cons: Pros's Great and engaging team members- great staff!! Very comfy duvet- I wanted to buy it. Absolutely perfect as my room never changed temps and I was cold (more on that later!) Amazing towels- so fluffy, soft and absorbent Nice common areas- I was amused and loved the decor. Plenty of space to spread out, work or just hang out. Cons small room -there's no way I could stay with another person due to no expectation of any privacy. Horribly hard/stiff bed- My back progressively felt worse every day of stay. I do 12-20 trips a year; I can sleep virtually anywhere without issue; this was THE WORST BED I've ever slept in. The temp never changed despite my adjustments via the ipad. Nothing ever blew other than the ventilator to circulate air. There was puke outside the door for a full day (early AM when i left for work to late day- after 6 pm when i retuned); we couldnt clean that as soon as discovered? no real amenities here and I get itsscaled down for price. But go across the street to L7 for similar pricing (i certainly will!) and more quality. Leave this for backpackers who want a bed for a night or two.

I am disappointed to have to leave this review. The hotel is stylish, with comfortable beds and nice location but that is where the good news ends. The bathrooms are in a glass enclosure in the center of the room, allowing zero privacy. This is the first hotel I have ever been to that didn’t offer their guests coffee in the morning. Not even a coffee maker in the room. And when I asked the bartender at the restaurant if there was coffee for the guests anywhere, she rang me up ($7 for 2 drip coffees) with an attitude I’ve rarely seen. Service was truly hit or miss. Cleaning during your stay literally only consisted of making the bed and changing the towels. If you’re okay with a very expensive mixed bag, take your chances.

Nice place if just me overnight but this is not your ‘normal’ hotel room. It was a 7’ by 20’ room, sink along one wall opposite a frosted glass enclosure that is the toilet and shower. The king bed was installed sideways, wall to wall so if there are two of you, one has to crawl over the other. No power outlet on the far bedside and no bedside table theee so you have to get everything done. Before you crawl across your bedmate to go to the far side. No glasses for drinking from the faucet which is ok if you’re got a water bottle with you. A room to sleep in and that is it.
