The apartment was great. Very clean and in a good location. The neighborhood was safe and quiet. We were able to walk to a lovely coffee shop nearby (Tasa coffee) and easily get to Wicker Park and downtown using public transit and uber/lyft. The apartment was well equipped and had everything we needed for our visit. I would happily stay there again.
My son and I stayed there while looking for a job and an apartment for him closer to downtown. It was a great home base. We mostly drove from this location but you could take Grand bus all the way downtown.
Sean was a very responsive host and overall his place is clean and comfortable. We could not figure out how to properly use the double shower head and the hot water takes a long time time to come on and once it does, it's a bit finnicky. The rooms and beds were clean and comfortable. The first bedroom as you enter could use a small table of some sort and more cell phone charging friendly outlets. We appreciated the generous supply of towels and toilet paper.(We were 3 adults) and we had no problem accessing the building and our door with the code provided. There were a few food stores and bus stops within a 5-10 minute walk.We also appreciated the washer/dryer combo. in the unit.It would also be good to note in the listing that this is 2 flights up stairs which was fine for us but some folks would benefit with knowing that.Overall a pleasant, clean stay was had!
