We had a short but pleasant stay at the Sonesta Suits. Check-in was easy and they welcomed our dog. The rooms were spacious. The location is great-- next to the lake, bars, restaurants, and shopping. The bathroom could have used a better cleaning (especially the tub). Also, there were a couple random charges on my card by the hotel that I can't account for. I plan to call them when I return home to ask for an explanation. Parking is expensive at $72/day, but that is comparable to other hotel parking in the area.

Will stay again!

We stayed at this hotel in Oct 2022 and returned March 2025. Such a great improvement with the renovations!! We had the 2 bedroom suite both times which is like a small apartment and perfect for families. My only complaint is that the room we stayed in 2022 had a decent sized bathroom plus a sink in the master bedroom. That room was twice the size of the room we had in 2025. The bathroom was so tiny and so was the sink. Definitely difficult with 4 people.

Overall a good stay, comfy beds, but only seemed to have a top sheet, so the sheet kept coming off. Breakfast was good, but needs more staff because they couldn't keep up with demand.

Smooth and easy stay off Michigan Ave

The front desk and housekeeping staff were extremely attentive and friendly. Checking process was exceptionally smooth. Valet parking was easy. Best stay at a hotel in a long time. One low point was breakfast. It was the bare minimum to be called breakfast- eggs, potatoes, sausages and yogurt and They ran out of coffee.
